A movie about the 'che' in his young days. Recomended from a friend, I saw it and I give at a "10" . It was nice to see the scenes from Arg, Chile, Cusco, Peru... good stuff.
Discuss.

It thought is was a great movie. As a peruano I like to think it was that trip through Peru that truly changed the path of Che's life. It makes me feel good. Like I can also make a change.
On a sour note. Hollywood is making a bigtime production called "Che".
Staring as Che is none other than Tom Hanks.
Just kidding it will be Benecio Del Toro. ALmost as bad.

Well Benecio Del Toro, might not be so bad.
You never know with Hollywood. Sometimes they make total trash.
Sometimes what they do is gold. That's why I have low expectations with Hollywood films. That way - I've actually enjoyed some really cheesy predictable sh1t.

I heard everywhere that this movie is not all that. Mainly from "foreign movie" aficionados that what only foreign movies... like myself.
But i'll have to watch it anyways, i've never seen anything on film regarding CHE so this is probably the best thing out now.

The movie is great, if you're Latin American you must see it (even more if you're South American.)
It's not highly politicized at all, which is why some people might not like it. But it does show the events that began to change Che's perceptions of the world like the displacement of modest people by big foreign companies and the treatment of the indigenous. The cinematography, of course, is out of this world, our continent really is beautiful.

Of course, heck the only ugly place in all the Americas is probrably The Ozarks. No offense to our fellow Ozarkian friends :D
on a political note. I admire the che for seeing the same problems i always saw in poverty. Though I disagree w/his solution. Anyone who cares of the ppl in the Americas, should see this film. Also there's a few good laughs in the films. Extras on the DVD are pretty good, too.

Ugh, Benicio del Toro as Che? Jesus. Benicio always looks like he's on acid all day long, or something. It might totally ruin the feeling of the movie. I guess we should wait and see.
I'll definitely check into Motorcycle Diaries, though. I respect Gael as an actor.

According to IMDB.com.
the movie was rated an 8.1/10
of those voting, males under 18 gave it an 8.7
of those males under 18, 47.1% gave it a 10.
This fact alone makes me feel as there is still hope for the people of earth. To end these futile wars and bring a bit of equality to the impoverished.
In non-preachy terms -- I am glad that there are youth that feel they can still make a difference.

It was OK, but dragged on, not enough sex...did he ever get laid?...anyway
I'd give it 7/10.
Support these efforts and enjoy a good flick, but I don't think it was all that great as most believe.
