Now that bigsoccer is back, how did everyone do tonight? I won my match 4-0, for my 3rd straight league shutout, and I am in first place on 9 points. That will end next week. Tonight I got a hattrick from my U-20 prospect in the midfield, who happens to have wretched scoring, take that Deut and all your scoring trainers. :p

I tied 4-4 against a team I should have beaten. Fortunately there were two other surprising ties in my series and I didn't lose ground against the teams I am competing with.

Tied Again!! 3-3 Again!!! I understimated my opponent by not loading my Midfield, I concentrated on my defense and attack which was better overall but I aint complaining.

Delivered a 7-0 PIC thrashing to somebody who has never logged in. This brings the goal total to 18 in 3 games with an unbelievable 18/19 chances converted this year. Last year we scored 24 goals all season. Guy with a hattrick blew a cross pass in the 88th minute tonight or else we'd be perfect. Unfortunately it will all come crashing down to earth next week as I go on the road and play the #1 team, who is better than I am. Hopefully we'll benefit from the PIC today as I'm pretty sure he was not able to. This defensive trainer will enjoy it while it lasts though.

Tied 2-2 at home in front of a record crowd against last season's #1. It was a mutual PIC and to my disbelief I was up 2-0 until the 75th, he then scored 2 goals in the last 15 minutes. Before the game I would've been very glad to split possession and come away with a draw. If it wasn't for 4 missed chances in the first half and had my keeper getting injured (and replaced by the coach, blaugh) I would've won the damn thing so I'm not as happy as I should be.

Thankfully, I made over 100k on the match I can buy a new keeper and a few more players to strengthen my team for the cup. Before tonight I was just under 200k in debt so I couldn't buy anyone.

Played La Ligne Maginot. Was 2-0 all time versus Maginot. That did not change. My only disappointment was the attendance. I only had 29K in my 52K stadium.

I won 5-1. I PIC'd and got my highest ever midfield (inad++) and highest ever rating (147).

Match ID 36877234

Gave up my first points in a league match since I started. Missed 4-5 chances at home and he scores on 1 of 2 SE's (Exceptional Pass and My Yutes exp event). I had 68% of possesion in both halves. Also, he gets a red card in the 14th minuted and all the scoring happens afterwards. Tied 1-1. :(

Did move up from 3rd to 2nd as one of the three teams that was level on points but had better GD lost.

PCFC won big away from home, 5-0 against a club that's recently gone ownerless. It should've been worse, but I missed a few chances.

With the win I move into 2nd place on goal difference, and head home to face the 4th place club (1 point behind me) next week. Talk about a must-win match..........

My third straight 5-2 victory, and I'm now poised to permanantly grab first place next weekend with a home game against a very beatable first place squad.

Got my second straight weak(very low) midfield - a high - and my highest hatstats rating ever, 121.

Won 3-1 on the road to move up to 4th, and with cupcakes coming up the next 2 weeks, I should move up to 2nd. Won't finish in front of the relegated team from V., who should run the table without breaking a sweat.

i played a giant killer this week. he beat the IV demotee 2-0 last week. like 10 minutes into the game, one of my IMs got injured (3 weeks!). then i went up 1-0 in the first half with a goal from my greek foward. i got another goal from my wingback as a head specialty in the second half. i thought i pretty much had the game won until the ass hole came back and scored 2 goals on me! then my other foward put one in in the 76th minute and it turned out to be the gamewinner.

Lost 3-2 against last years top team. Had a 1-1 draw bwfore they had two goals in the last 15 minutes. Thought I might have a chance to get a draw after my Swede winger made it 2-3, but it was not to be. Looks like V.61 is going to close as 3 pts seperate 1-6.

I just read the match report a bit more closely and I've now come to the conclusion that I would've won if my keeper hadn't gotten injured (or if I had a capable backup). My opponent's only 2 chances came in the last 20 minutes and he converted them both :(. Still a draw against a guy who finished first last season is a good result and I should be happy I guess.... :D.

Won my game 3-0 second in my series on GD having conceeded 1 goal all season long... not a huge crowd... just 17599 out of 35k, however fans are delirious... TS is satisfied and I have a gimme next week away followed by the DV demotee at home which should pull in a near sellout... I will then be solvent after upgrading coaches... or atleast close to solvent (60K or so in debt I think I should end up)

Facing last year's #2 at home, nobody's been considering me to be a contendor for the title, which is a riot, but - whatever.

Miss an opening header in the first minute, I think, then wait forever for stuff to happen. Then bam! My opponent buries two quick ones back-to-back in my net and I'm thinking, "Not again!"

Last season, he stole a tie at my place and then beat me at his place. He's gotten pretty good about earning some close ones.

Well, my boys woke up, dug deep and came up with 6 unanswered goals to win this one. After the 6-2 spanking, I sit in first based on goal differential and undefeated. The series IV demotee is right behind me, and we are gearing up for a week 5 showdown of the only remaining undefeated teams in my series. Thankfully, it's at my place.

Already trying to decide how I want to approach the week 5 matchup.

Wow, what a game. (36876224)

Played last year's number 2 who, until yesterday, had beaten me both times. Won 4-3 at home by MOTS'ing it. Titanic battle.

* Near sellout crowd in the rain (11.5 K).
* 4 injuries (3 of them mine, thankfully all minor)
* A red card for his lone central defender (He played a 3-4-3. I played AIM. Seems he got anoyed with the attention),
* Scored 2 goals in the last 18 minutes to tie, then win it.

Huge team effort. Sitting on top of vi.212 with 9 points.

Highlights:
Lance Castellanos, team captain and all around mediocre defender but with an excellent rating in Set Pieces gets a penalty kick goal, almost scored on a special event, and set up the tieing goal on a set piece kick.

Charles Minder, the POS backup midfielder (PM Passable, Stam Excellent, Pass Inad., Specialty Head - I picked up for $1000 in the off season due to his wretched shape) has won another game for me. When I read " Charles Minder seemed to be floating in the air at will as he elegantly headed in 3-3. The previous Brooklyn corner kick was executed by Lance Castellanos." I was screaming "Yeah baby. Jump you glorious fat bastard, jump!!".

(note: For those of you are that are brand new players in div 6, don't discount a excellent set piece guy and some one with Head skill. They are worth almost a goal a game against div 6 goalies. Inad defenders with Excellent or higher Set Pieces are dirt cheap)

The mid-field worked its but off. With the MOTS I managed to hit poor-low. A high for me. Next week I PIC against a new team so that my team doesn't start shooting at me.

I now have 500K in cash, a full compliment of trainees, and I'm looking to go shopping for another mid-fielder.

Played normal because I was hoping for a win but didn't want to MOTS.

Won 6-2. And TS is still at delirious for the time being, although I'm sure it'll drop by the weekend.

My series should prove to be quite tightly contested. We have two bottom-dwellers but everyone else could end up finishing just about anywhere.

How is the original owner of Gregory Green faring? Did he put the $7 million to good use? Or did he squander it in a splendid fashion?
