Will Landon thrive in Europe?

Sure. If he can withstand the physical pounding of the German league, he can make it.

This is going to get good, time to open a 6-pack and sit back and enjoy the fireworks.

It may or may not be at Leverkeusen, but somewhere in a major European league, there's definitely a place or two where he can really excel.

There should have been a middle ground in the poll. To me it sounds like he will either do very well or fail.

I don't think he will make it at Bayer but once he adapts to the game he may make it at another German team.

I don't think he will make it at Bayer but once he adapts to the game he may make it at another German team. If he doesn't make it with his current German team I doubt he will want to stay in Germany.. He would go to another European team in Holland or somewhere or head back home.. IMO..

Yes. He has the skills and the speed. That play he made against Germany in 2002 keeps coming to mind. He got around two defenders and shot perfectly, but Kahn tipped the ball out for a corner.

German football isnt that physical as english. The english play for 8 months thats enduring. Landon will either fail or achieve is probably the two real options.

I think Landon has an excellent chance to showcase himself in Germany. I feel that he will succeed and improve, I do not expect him to stay in Germany though, I expect a move to EPL or Spain to be in his future.

there are two things that can work for his favour, SKILL AND SPEED. with those, i think he will make it in germany.

I think with him it's about confidence and encouragement. If his confidence is encouraged by the environment around him at BL, he will thrive.

I said yes as long as thrive means starting on a team that is playing in the CL and playing in a top Euro league. I'm not going to say he is one of the world's top players or ever will be, but he can definately keep pace with them and make an impact on the any team. He's an awesome player and going to lead US into Germany '06.

Wow they put him in in the 95th minute. Glad they aren't worried about him wearing down.
