Sung in the style of any crap American singer because you lot seriously dont know how to play football.

Oh, I don't know about that. We have a long way to go catching up to football giants like Brazil, Argentina, Germany and England. In fact at the 2002 World Cup we made it the Quarter Finals against Germany but lost. We have a ways to go.

How did England do in the World Cup?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Hallo from Leverkusen
wow..great answer from american fans of soccer. I love american soccer
and despite I live in Germany I watch always american soccer. I was so
fascinated by Donovan performance during the world cup that I started to
be his fan. I started to watch american soccer since this time. I think american soccer has a big potential. I remember the great game Portugal against U.S.A. I played a game and I did bet that U.S would win. Many germans told me I was crazy becase Portugal was much better then U.S that time. But see American won against Portugal and I started to like american soccer. I´m very happy we have Donovan in Leverkusen. I´m fan of Bayer Leverkusen and I know he will do great job in our team. I played myselfs soccer, but after my study I had not time for playing soccer. I also like
Klinsmann. Oh I know about "rivals" englishmen. They are big rivals for germans. I like more american soccer then english, because I see such a big
potential in american soccer. American soccer has many good young players, some of them plays in Germany. I will keep you informed about Donovan and Leverkusen. And you can keep me informed about american soccer. Good deal:). And sorry my english. Mirka, bltleoHello again my German friend. The mood here in the states right now is excited. We got our rivalry coming up soon against Mexico in WCQ and then finally we get to play England again in a friendly on May 28 in Chicago. Unfortunatly I heard they have no pride in friendly games and won't bring their starters. I hope Michael Owen plays, because it would be interesting to see if our defense can handle him. Also, I wouldn't mind seeing Beckham either. I was wondering if you seen Clint Mathis play while he was in Germany, and do you like him. He was looking like our best player for a short time, but then he blew out his knee for a second time which has slowed him down. He was red hot leading up to 2002 WC and I'm sure he impressed the Germans when the U.S. lossed 4-2 in Rostock(both goals by Mathis). Keller played really well too, otherwise your team might have beaten us 8-2. You guys rule the air when it comes to soccer. It's funny, americans are tall in size but not in soccer where most europe teams make us look like kids. It's because most of our bigger athletes choose football, basketball, baseball, or Hockey over soccer in professional sports as you probably know. Anyway, hows Landon doing? I haven't heard anything about him lately. And how is Leverkusen doing? If I remembered correctly, you said they have Ballack. That guy is awesome! Germany might have beaten Brazil if Ballack was in that game. And yes I do know about Leverkusen being a good team. Didn't they win league not to long ago. Also have you ever met any professional soccer players, I have. I met most of all the USNMT including part-time surfer Frankie Hedjuk who I'm sure the German people enjoyed. It probably helped to that judging from his last name he is from German descent. Anyway, I know you'll be cheering for us to destroy England. I think we will beat them because we have that underdog mentallity. We got something to prove to our former fathers. Like the famous line in the Revolution War. "The **************s are coming!" ;)

There should be a middle teer here. He might thrive but he won't fail. I think he will end up some where in the middle, better than average but he won't be a star as in the MLS, level in Europe is so much more competitive.

Theres no doubt in my mind Landon will make it, if Leverkusen can't find a way to to use him there are plenty of European sides that can. I mean say Landon were to wind up at a club like Everton, he would be able to make an immediate impact, and as of right now Everton are fourth in the premeirship, doing a lot better than lev are in the bundesliga, I mean anyone who has seen Landon play knows he has the skill, personally I really don't think to highly of the bundesliga and would love to see him play elsewhere. Like I said, if you have seen him play then you know he has the skill

HOW COME IF HES DOING SO WELL,HES BEEN THERE TWICE AND HAD TO COME BACK TO MLS BOTH TIMES,IT WAS MADE OFFICIAL TODAY,, THAT HE HAS SIGNED FOR THE GALAXY,AFTER PLAYING A BLINDER FOR THE USA VERSUS GUATEMALA,WHERE HE HAD AN ABSOLUTELY AWESOME GOAL CALLED BACK FOR OFFSIDE,I DONT THINK LEVERKEUSEN GAVE HIM ENUGH CHANCES IN HIS FAVOURED POSITIONS,PLUS THEY DIDNT PUT UP MUCH OF A FIGHT TO KEEP HIM IN THE BUNDESLIGUE.

It could very well be that the weather might have something to do with Landon not feeling completely at home there. It is a known fact that a lot of people in the Norther European countries (Belgium,Holland,Germany,Sweden,Denmark,Finland and Iceland) suffer from depression due to the weather. The weather is I would say 50 to 60% cloudy, misty with patches of sun on and of. This is not to say that Landon is clinically depressed BUT he grew up under the sun in California which is a totally different atmosphere and this could play a role in his psychology and directly have an affect on his play. If he would make a jump to another league Landon again, I think, he would do well in Mexico and in Spain where the weather is usually sunny somewhat like in California. Let's whish him the best and continue to help the MLS grow.

Cheers,
Peter
