Unbelievable! For months now ive been looking forward to Barça Vs. Chelsea hoping and praying that ESPN would finally wise up and show, by far the best match up of this round. But no, once again ESPN manages to F up and bypass the match that the whole world has been talking about. YOU SUCK ESPN!! Do us all American football fans a favor a drop your ugly monopoly on the Chapions League matches and give it to FSC or GolTV. Im sick and tired of Bass Masters and World Strong Man competitions from 1992 on the air while world class football is being played! GO TO HELL!!!!

LOL. Calm down there cowboy.
Half of us have been really anticipating the Man U v. Milan matchup. You know that it is going to be just as exciting as the Barca v. Chelsea one. I do agree that it would be nice if another ESPN channel could have aired the Barca game. Still, it was a good measure for them to at least show a good matchup, even if you disagree. You take what you can get.

Could give me the web address for the game. I can only watch Milan vs. Man U here in Floida on ESPN2.

Have to agree with Sandeman. Barca and Chelsea are the top two favorites to win the tournament. And we won't get to see the game. What a joke. 1st place in England, 1st place in Spain.
ESPN is obviously showing ManU - Milan because people in the States still associate Beckham with United and still don't know who Roman Ahbromovic (sp?) is. Isn't every United match on Wednesday in CL shown here?
But I guess I can't complain since ESPN is showing a CL match. Remember, the only reason CL is not on ESPN Deportes exclusively is because it would violate the rights of the UEFA contract which mandate that the coverage reach a minimum percentage of households in the country.

This software lets you see ESPN international and a bunch of Asian sports channels. You need WMP 9.0 or higher and don't bother if you don't have a good internet connection. Install the software, go to WMP then tools, options, network tab, unclick all but http for streaming options. Open CoolStreaming doubleclick on ESPN wait until WMP pops up, it will take 5 minutes until it is running well.

I think that too. But for the second leg, it definitely has to be Barca vs. Chelsea. The definite one.

In terms of fan appeals overseas, Barca x Chelsea is no match against Man U x Milan. It's not even #2 on the next MD.
The marquee value of the 4 marquee matchups in round of 16:
1. Man U x Milan
2. Real Madrid x Juventus
3. Barca x Chelsea
4. Bayern x Arsenal
Look at the Latin American market:
Man U x Milan on ESPN Latin America, Barca x Chelsea on ESPN DOS
Asian market:
Man U x Milan on ESPN Asia, Barca x Chelsea on Star Sports
