I am a Shootout Package subscriber on Dish. Besides complaining to the MLS front office, how can we be assured that next year the Shootout Package will include ALL the games? Who do we call, write, email?

I was with DirecTV and switched to DISH just to make sure I got the entire shootout package - cruel fate huh - - this year the shootout on DirecTV was great and on Dish was horrible. The league needs to get this done and done quickly - stop alienating the fans that go the extra mile to buy your product... Sorry about the rant - I just want to stay with DISH but also get all the games.

While I think that it would be great for the Shootout to show ALL the games on ALL of the platforms on which it is available (digital cable, DirecTV, DISH), I just don't see how you can call the Shootout on Dish Network "horrible." Just how many games do you expect for $49? Maybe we had fewer games than were shown on DirecTV but, anyway you slice it, we see a ton of games and the cost per game is tiny.

I suspect that the discrepancies that existed in Shootout offerings this year had something to do with the last second nature of the national and various regional TV deals this year and various and sundry other delays that occured due to contraction. All in all, it's been a pretty good year for US soccer in general and MLS in particular. Hopefully, Don Garber and Friends will be able to parlay that into an even better Shootout package for next year.

I say horrible, because i once got all the games. Plus I buy the package to be able to see the games/matchups I (underlined bold, italicized) want to see, not ESPN not FS__. Yes $49 was less than $69, but I expect the entire package. Hell, I don't mind paying more to get it. $69 or $89 are both reasonable prices for the entire season. This should be a prioirty for the league this year. Without a weekly wrap up show and missing the weekday games, I felt that I understood the teams and league less this year. I'm a fanatic. What about the causual fan or one who cares, but doesn't live it. The PPV package is one way to connect to them...

The excuse that it was a last minute deal are B___S____ they used that last year and if I recall correctly the year before that. This should be a league priority and should be in place long before April.
