Well boys and girls I am told this is where the US Open Cup gets interesting. Where boys become men, men become legends, and legends become boys ...
Anyways, tonight I am facing off against arabia. A club with some notoriety in the Hattrick World. They won II.2 back in season 20 and were the club where Cornelius Moss developed his amazing skills.
It will be a tough go, but I am confident that I'll make it through intact, complete with my ticket to round 4.

I'm playing Blue Lightening, a DII squad and I'm already down 1-0. This is completely expected, of course!
However, what's not expected was that I sold out! My supporter total is 842, and the '35 multiplier' would only put my attendance at 29,470. Is the highest multiplier higher than 35???
Also, my generous VIP section which is 2.8% of my total capacity is obviously sold out too. Color me suprised.

Playing a D6 club whose owner barely logs in. I should beat him easily, but he already has 2 scoring chances in the first 10 minutes. Fortunately he's missed so far.

And that's with overcast conditions. I think the attendence changes come into play here. I believe crowds are now more influenced by the size of the visitor's fan base.

Yep. Probably didn't need to though. Up 2-0 and 70% possession at the half.

0-0 at the half. I have 59% possession on the pIC and three missed chances.
For a good match to watch and possibly a HUGE cupset.
D.VI deathspawn is taking on ML team Dawn of Twilight.

When I logged out of hattrick during my match yesterday I was 3-0 down with 20 minutes left. When I logged in again half an hour later I was in the 4th round :cool:
I'm probably out next week though, but i might have a chance if i decide to go for it.

Took care of business at home against arabia and won 3-1. In terms of stars the match was close, I had 33.5 and he had 32. But I beat him 132-106 in hatstats. I'm really interested in seeing who I draw for Round 4.

Well not surprised I lost, not really even by as much as I did considering I decided on a last min PICing of the game. Oh well I've got my next two weeks planned out before the cup starts anyways, I am playing a home-home with a team in the Dominican Republic.

Its called underestimating your opponent and having about 10 people scout the bad guys for you. He also MOTS'd vs the PIC of DoT. Games like this are why the Cup is so much fun. :)
