WASHINGTON (AP) -- Colleges should use President Bush's No Child Left Behind Act for K-12 students as a model for measuring university performance and cutting the minority achievement gap on their campuses, Education Secretary Margaret Spellings said Monday...

I am growing fond of Education Secretary Spellings... she is cut from the same intellectual mold as Bennett and Paige... onward Margaret... bravo!

Getting an education K-12 is a right that every person in America has. However, college here is a privilege. If you don't have the grades, the money, or a scholarship, then unfortunately you can't go to college. Which is to say nothing of the fact that nary a private college in the US has to even consider something like this.

ITN, you do realize your on the verge of advocating a socialist movement?
