The United States men's national team travels to "La Azteca" for a crucial World Cup Qualifier next month. I think the US beats the Mexican'ts to continue their unbeaten streak against them. The USA overcomes caveman like behavior from the Mexican't faithful and escape "La Azteca" unscathed with a 2-0 victory. "Remember the Alamo, No Surrender!"

True, but they're mostly stupid rants at World Rivalries. Hopefully this thread has some promise and will be more insightful.
Or maybe that's just wishful thinking?
Mexico 1, USA 1
El Azteca is a menacing place to play, but you can't just talk the talk and not walk the walk. USA has had Mexico's number for a while now, and a confident team is always tough to beat, especially when the other team has pretty much been their "b!tch", in a matter of speaking.

Tough call really.
Mexico has been up and down while the US has been more solid. Still it's Mexico in the Azteca and the US off tough salary talks/strike/lock out.
All I can see right now is that both teams are definitely the best in the region but they have definite weaknesses which could be exposed.
Mexico, I think, is defensively weak on the sides and has goalkeeping problems. If the US is allowed to strike from the sides, Mexico is in problems.
The US is getting stronger in other areas but they're weaker in the central defense and defensive midfield than they used to be. If Mexico is allowed to dominate they'll have problems.

Bruce Arena just released his schedule for the days leading up to the showdown with Mexico. He plans to roughly have the team train together for a month. Of course the European players will not participate in the month long training session. However, Bruce has said he wants the European players back earlier than usual to make extra preparations for this crucial game. Mexico however not fielding many players outside of Mexico may have a slight advantage. I know coach Lavalope knows a loss to the States could be his final game, so he will for sure bring his players together much sooner and try to instill a sense of urgency into them.
I really don't get much news on Mexico, so if any Mexicans want to tell us the latest news from their camp it would be much appreciated.

Central defense and defensive midfield are hardly weak points for the US squad. Those are actually probably two of the strongest spots on the field for us. Left back, and to a lesser extent right back are two problematic areas for us, as well as the right side of midfield (although Donovan and Beasley have been played there, neither are best there) and also a second striker to combine with Johnson at this point.
In Central defense we have Bocanegra, Pope, Gibbs, and Berhalter, at D-Mid we have Mastroeni, Zavagnin, Armas, Reyna, Dempsey, Mulrooney, need I go on?

I would like to see Ching and Johnson up front. Maybe just as an experiment in a friendly, but I think they could compliment each other well. I was just interested to know why you don't think Mcbride or Wolff are good matches up front?

Do you really care about rep points? I don't I just want to discuss soccer and how the US is going to beat the Mexican'ts. And if you don't want to discuss soccer don't just be an idiot, and jump in a thread.

you tried to give me negative rep, and explained how it does not matter for you so in the future you can save yourself the trouble of giving rep

I don't see why u had to be such a jerk about it. I just asked a simple question and a simple answer would have been appreciated.
