U.S. Men vs. Colombia
Date: 3/9/05 7:30 PM
End date: 3/9/05 10:00 PM
Series: International Friendly
Location: Titan Stadium (Fullerton, Calif.)
This makes me glad I have weekdays off. I'll be going to this match. It looks like (http://picsrv.ussoccer.com/fif=/ussf/img_6_4043.fpx&obj=iip,1.0&wid=461&hei=456&bgc=254,254,254&rgn=0,0,0,0&cvt=jpeg) there will be no seats behind either goal, so where should I buy tickets to stand with the US supporters?

As soon as they start selling tickets, I am buying four.

I'm going to assume with the press box being on the west side, that is also where the cameras will go. I guess with that in mind we aught to look at getting tickets in either Section J or R on the east side.

Wonder why the HDC didn't get this game ? I am even more surprised that Miami (Orange Bowl) didn't get this game.

Looking at the HDC's event calander, they've got a tennis thing going on from the 4th-6th, and then a lacross invitational on the 12th, but there's nothing in between. Go figure.

The entire east side of the stadium is general admission at only $15 a ticket.. Bring something for your butt (or stand like a good fan) as the seats are concrete on the east side but you can get the best view of a nat's game for a very low price for this match if you get there early and chose your view... Seating chart below :

I would LOVE to go since I've never seen my two favorite national teams (born in USA, family from Colombia) play, in person, but I'm in between cars right now & don't know what public transportation I could take to get from downtown L.A. to Fullerton (after work) & Fullerton to Glendale (after game).
DAMMIT!! Why couldn't they have had the game at the HDC? So much easier to get to, even through public trans.
Hopefully, I'll find a way to get to Fullerton for the March 9 game!!
Will there be an official Sam's Army group appearance??

West Coast Sam's Army......... Well, I'd imagine that would be organized by the head honchos of the Galaxians, Riot Squad, and maybe the San Jose crew.

It'll be up to the LA locals. Fullerton's near Anahiem and a seven hour drive away from us in San Jose.
I can't go since it's on a school night, and I gotta save up my vacation time for bigger things (like Germany).

I'll be buying a red shirt for the match. Azteca is still up in the air for me, but Birmingham is looking like quite the easy lock.

It may be small but they're probably expecting a small crowd so that's why it's probably being held there. That & rent being cheaper.

any guesses as to who will be brought in for this game? i assume that it won't include many/any of the european contingent. anyone heard anything to the contrary or think otherwise. if so, what does our lineup look like?
