OK, I won't be here to join in any discussion today (have to go to Philly), but feel free to discuss today's game.

Here are the probable lineups...

Juventus (probable): 1-Gianluigi Buffon; 24-Emiliano Moretti, 4-Paolo Montero, 13-Mark Iuliano, 21-Lilian Thuram; 11-Pavel Nedved, 20-Davide Baiocco, 26-Edgar Davids, 3-Alessio Tacchinardi; 10-Alessandro Del Piero, 18-Marco Di Vaio.

Newcastle (probable): 1-Shay Given; 12-Andy Griffin, 34-Nikos Dabizas, 5-Andy O'Brien, 18-Aaron Hughes; 4-Nolberto Solano, 7-Jermaine Jenas (or 6-Clarence Acuna), 11-Gary Speed, 32-Laurent Robert; 8-Kieron Dyer, 9-Alan Shearer.

Well, if we have everybody who was here last week ... that means it'll just be me! Oh, well. Wish I could watch it.

The game is being shown again at the restaurant I mentioned, but I don't think I'll be able to see it. For some reason, they're only showing it at 4:30pm (for a $10 cover) or at 9pm. I have plans to go see a band tonight...I don't know why they aren't showing it at 7 like usual.

Oh well...I think we're gonna hammer Newcastle anyway.

Only difference from Dante's posted lineup is that Tudor is starting in the midfield in place of Tacchinardi.

Crap, Di Vaio is injured and may have to leave the game after a clash of heads. Well, guess that lousy Trezeguet guy will have to come in.

17' - Trezeguet is in. Di Vaio is receiving oxygen! Yikes.

Poor Di Vaio. I foresee two goals from Treze and the end of Marco's time as a starter.

And a second for Alex.

81' 2-0. Sounds like lights out for Newcastle. I think it's been an even game though.

Perhaps Newcastle should try taking a point from each game they play instead. Or any game.

Congrats to Juve. Sounds like Newcastle played a very good game, but we still came out a winner. I'm a little surprised that Feyenoord couldn't beat Dynamo at home. The battle for 2nd place in this group could be quite interesting.

Ive decided Necaste are too good for this tournament so they will just aim for the Uefa cup place.

You could've killed the starting lineup of Juve, and they still would've beaten Newcastle. All that talk of taking 3 points from Juve away was pure rubbish. They came close, but that only counts in grenades and horseshoes. Juve is not looking as strong as they were last week, but they are still a force to be wreckoned with in Europe, and they will only get better as they come into form and get some of their starters back.

So you are going to put all your energy to try and finish 7th in England. Or do you really think Newcastle can finish 3rd in this group? Look at the standings:

Group E Pld Pts

Juventus 3 7
Feyenoord 3 5
Dynamo 3 4
Newcastle 3 0

Newcastle is dead. They won't catch Dynamo.
