Ive recently been informed by email that my team, Norwich City F.C has been locked out beause I supposedly logged on as another team and fired one of their players in an attempt to ruin the game. There are three possibilities I imagine as to why this would happen. (of course I didnt log into another team and fire their player, I have no wayh to find out their password.

1. THE MOST LIKELY POSSIBILITY
My brother also logs in on the same comp as me and fired one of his own players. It might have been right after I logged off, because we're both really eager to play hattrick sometimes

2. Another Possibility-I bought one of my brothers players, for 1k, not to help my brother, but just because I wanted to have his former player to flaunt in his face as our teams are arch rivals. Anyways, as soon as I purchased his player, Michael Odom, I then fired him. I wrote a press announcement with him being my greatest transfer move ever, but tthen I didnt know this was illegal.

3. SOMETHING I DONT WANT TO BELIEVE BUT VERY WELL COULD HAVE HAPPENED..

Fighting Donkey FC and Aguilas USA are both very fierce rivals of mine. Last season I defeated Donkey FC the final game of the season, thereby keeping him out of first place and promotion. Aguilas I dont like because theyre my cross town rivals. Ive traded vicious insults with both of these teams and recently defeated aguilas 5-1. Anyways, its kind of esculated recently with Donkey officially reporting me and then the GM saying the report wasnt for a good reason but i should be caareful anyway and with me and donkey trading insults in PAs. My brother also recentl HT mailed him and insulted him too, just because I beat him. Well Donkeys owner, SirMojo HT mailed him back and was under the impression that my brother was me under an alternate screen name. Anyways, what Im thinking is Fighting Donkey FC might have possibly fired one of their own players by themselves and then reported me saying I hacked them. As Ive been acting like an ass on the conference because its fun to make computer geeks angry, of course the GM would take his word for it because my assanine comments might result in me doing assanine things such as hacking a rivals team, which I dont even know how to do

Anyways, how do I get my team back,, how do I contact my GM? I emailed back that noreply email address with my explanation but im not sure if that gets read. Helghallen, I know you come here and have alot of HT influence, maybe you could tell the GM I didnt do anything, or atleast tell him what I thought could have possibly happened. I also payed for supporter. My team got locked out for no reason other then someones word, do I get my money back, I didnt play my full three moinths. If anyone reads this, can you please tell the GM a link to this thread so he atleast knows my story even if he doesnt unlock my team? Thanks, if I get my team back, Ill support all the teams that helped me. Thank you for listening to my sob story

o, btw, my htname is ObiwankenobiZ

I would say it is a mix of all three, the first one, because of the fact that you got two teams logging on from the same computer, did you tell the GM's about this, and did they know that you are your bro used the same computer?

The second reason, because since you were both using the same computers, anyone that thought you might be cheating and having two teams, had proof now that would show that you were possibly cheating because the IP address's of both teams would match each other. Rule number 1 you are always told when you share a computer for hattrick, NEVER buy the others players, it's not smart, if you look around in this forum, you'll see a crime stoppers thread where people here have busted cheaters by comparing IP addresses after shady transfers, not saying that your transfer was shady, but saying that comparing IP's is how we realize that they are possibly cheating.

Finally it's probably also number 3, because it's a good possiblity that one of them reported you, because your bro sent a ht-mail to one of the guys as well. This as well is a no-no, because then the guy that has gotten the ht-mail from both you and your bro's team would believe that you just logged into the other one and sent it by accident or something. The team that reported you most likely was just checking out your team, possibly scouting you for an upcoming match, saw your transfer with your bros team and checked it out, when he checked it out he probably realized that it was the same team that sent him the second ht-mail, and then checked IP's seeing that they matched, he did what any player would do, he reported you to the GMs because he thought you were cheating.

That's my take on the whole situation. I'll see if there is anything I can do, but I can't promise anything.

i dont think you're getting your team back. there is too much evidence agaisnt you of shady business.

well, the only evidence is that some opposing team fired one of his own players and then blamed me for it and the gamemaster believed it. I PAYED FOR SUPPORTER. I DEMAND REFUND?? Atleast please try to help me by showing the game master this link, it might help, i just want him to know about my bro being on the same comp as me and me buying his player not knowing it was illegal, and then my brother firing his own player. Thanks you

they'll probably refund your money if you ask nicely.

Hhhhmmm....Maybe send an nice email to the GMs to defender yourself. Here is my take.

Possibility #1-I think they figure some people use the same computers so I think they won't worry there.

#2-You MIGHT have a vaild arguement unless they deem is at unfair play(see below).

Fair Play on the Transfer Market: Good players and money are key aspects in Hattrick, which makes it very important that no teams benefit from abnormal activities on the transfer market. This means that all bids should be in relevance to what could be considered reasonable for the player in question. Remember, itīs not only prohibited to have several teams but also to "help" friends or family by buying players at inflated prices. The Gamemasters are fully authorized to cancel or adjust abnormal prices, deal out fines to teams or even banning the users involved.

However the rules do not state you can't buy players from a family member of friend. I guess it is an unwritten rule.

Besides I know people who have/wanted to bought/buy a player because of their name just so they could fire them.

#3-Insteads of insults, I would say heckle/trash talk/slagged each other instead of using the world insults(I think of racial insults when I see insults). Then also explain your brother could have gotten involved.

If worse comes to worse, ask if there can be a cooling off period where you can apply to get another team.

This doesn't square with the problem being a player that you bought from your brother and then fired. I wouldn't think that they would level an accusation like this one without having some kind of evidence other than an accuser's say-so, which makes it less likely that you will be able to convince the GMs that you didn't do it.

Okay, here's what you need to do. Send an email to USA@hattrick.org. Explain the problem. The GM's don't make these decisions lightly. There does seem to be a preponderance of evidence against you. They might unlock your team and let you back in. Can't say for sure. All you can do is ask.
