villareal plays tomorrow against the best defense in la liga! sevilla and baptista will be waiting for the yellow submarine. who ever wins will go to champions league positions! hohoho!! He shouldn't go back to Barcelona because him and Ronaldinho play the same position and he wont displace Ronaldinho in the starting 11.
I personally would love to see him at Bayern,i think he would be an extremely good buy for a team who needs a playmaker.

yeah with DiESLER,ballack,ScHweinsteiger, Ze roberto and FRings. they are not going to risk geting riquelme, besides Riquelme had a two year adaptation for la liga, if he went to the bundesliga it would be another period of story time
I think rijaart is going to change the strategy next year, because he contradicted, beguiristain and said in Marca and Sport that he might give them a change because he wants a strong team, that includes saviola that scored a HAT TRICK yesterday! but I think saviolas case is a little bit more complicated than riquelme's!

You're right with Riquelme. He would be a very good choice for Bayern. But Muinch is good equipped in midfield positions. I dont think Hoeneß or Magath will make an effort to buy Riquelme. Thats very harm because i would be pleased to see Riquelme at the Waldstadion in Frankfurt :D

Your Barcelona team line-up is great, not ridiculous!! Riquelme is awesome, I hope Barcelona will cut short his loan spell at Villareal asap. As for Saviola, Barcelona won't recall him as long as he refuse to take pay cut.

well now he has 10 goals what puts him in zona pichichi eventhough he is only a midfielder ''WOW''! and 13 assist!

the only crazy thing to say, is to compare the two players! I dont compare RI
with RO. they play different styles, Ronaldinho is much faster than riquelme and dribbles amazinglly, while riquelme holds the ball better and is more calm. Ronaldinho is a great passer and a faster passer to, but riquelme's first touch is probably the best ive seen, that an his amazing long millimeter passes.
I can really compare them, because they play with different styles!
I just hope he goes bac to barcelona, and both Ro and Ri play in the same team!..we would have the best midfield in the planet!

Ronaldinho's dribbling is better, while Riquelme's playmaking skills are clearly superior. Both are great players, but just because Ronaldinho is more "spectacular" it doesn't necessarily mean that he's better. It's just a matter of opinion (and sometimes nationality too, I'm sure...), but both are practically at the same level.
Like you've said: Villarreal, not Barça. That's why right now, I'd say Riquelme - he's in a much more modest team and still manages to score more goals and have a higher number of assists than Ronaldinho.

Where do you get 13 assists from? MARCA only shows 6. Also 5 of his goals are by penalty. Not take anything away from Riquelme, as he is having a great season, but put into a bit of perspective.
BTW, he is also listed as a forward, same as Baptista and Ronaldinho.

Wow, thanks for the link. Great compilation. I had forgotten about some of those extraordinary moves. Now I'm not so sure about Ronaldinho's dribbling being better than Riquelme's... :cool:

yes but they are still goals, so he is up there! you said 6?? you must be kitting me? listed as a foward?? I have the marca official guide and he is listed as a midfielder, NUMBER '8'
