and Nellie is playing RB today, replacing Lucas Neill in the lineup who has been somewhat dodgy in the past 3-4 matches.

At one point Nellie had a throw flicked on that led to a good scoring chance.

Earlier this week, Craig Short, another Defender with the club who was one of the starting central Ds before he was hurt, admitted he probably won't be able to earn his spot back into the side given the way the current players are performing.

Lucas Neill just came on for Aaron Mokoena, so Nelsen is moving back into the middle.

I am really sorry we don't have a good way to watch Nellie in the EPL but for those of you interested here are some comments from the Rovers fans bout Nellie after the Norwich match:

Nelsen...been outstanding, looks like he loves every game he play

Nelsen looks a great bit of business.

Nelson was awesome!

Nelsen deserves special credit. Good at FB, fabulous at centre half. Great reader of the game, can cover the ground, positions himself well, gets stuck in and has a lot of poise. (Tell us something we didn't know :) )

Nelsons sliding tackles are becoming a bit of a trademark!Great free transfer he was!

Nelsen is a great discovery - a right back who can actually defend and play centre half to boot. Bye bye Lucas.

Nelsen at right-back didn't really work. He can get away with it away from home because he doesn't have to use the ball as much but today he did and he used it badly. He looked top quality at centre-half in the second half

LORD Nelsen gets better every game.

The pairing of Nelsen and Todd has to be our first choice for the rest of the season.

Nelsen is looking like a real bargain

Where are all the Nelsen detractors now, where are all those "MLS? can't be any good" people. The man sounded solid as a rock, the commentators, one of who was our very own Shorty were very very impressed with his abilities.

Nelsen looks pure class in the middle, and coupled with Todd looks very, very solid.
