I think the unofficial motto for shirts, hats, etc. should be:
"WWPD?
Germany, 2006"
Which of course means "What Would Patton Do?" (General Patton being the US WWII tank commander for our history deficient friends). Seems like a good way to say we are going to rip the German countryside another **************, without being that blunt on visiting territory.
Fans should also launch into singing "Over There" at the 18th minute of each half (the 18th and 63rd minutes). 18 representing 1918 the year WWI ended.
Finally, I imagine Donovan will be officially named captain by the beginning of the World Cup. At that time he should be immediately annointed Landon "Blackjack" Donovan in honor of General John "Black Jack" Pershing, Commander of American forces in WWI. Blackjack Donovan seems to roll off the tongue well, IMHO.
The rest, of course, should be well orchestrated mayhem.
