in Korea, i believe we bought Category 3 tickets and ended up with US Supporters, who bought from either the USSF or FIFA.

anyone know what category we should order (or should've ordered) to sit with the US Supporters.

we applied for Category 3 with Category 2 as the upgrade option if 3 isn't available.

Unless someone knows something I don't, I think you did the right thing. The way I see it, USSF will give their best tickets to sponsors and player families. Anyway if we all just start buying Cat3, it will become the de facto supporters section out of necessity of our numbers.

So everyone buy Cat3 tickets if you want to be in the supporters section.

ticket applications began feb. 1st on the fifa site. doesn't matter when you apply, but when it ends, they draw the applications from a lottery.

Can't buy Cat 4 tix on the FIFA website at this time, so choose Cat 3.

Exactly. We'll all be together then.

I really hope that FIFA/DFB are smart enough and takes a page out of UEFA's/Portugals book and places all US Supporters regardless of Category of ticket similar to the way it was handled at EURO 2004.

I.e. on one side of the stadium you have all your Cat 3's/4's behind the net. Next to them is one corner of Cat 2's Supporters. Finally, next to them are 2 to 3 sections of CAT 1 Supporters.

The kitty corner opposite side of the field is for the opposing team.

Notice the Greece contingent here from my picture at EURO 2004.
