Hello we are coming to support Arsenal in Munich in the champions league. Can any bayern fans give me any tips about the best places to have a beer with Bayern fans and talk football.
It is great following Arsenal: our fans are not the typical caracature of an English hooligan, rather we like to have several beers and a laugh and hopefully a win!
Our stadium is truly unique, very small and old. It will only be home to Arsenal for one more year then we will move 600 metres up the street to Ashburton grove. On the day Highbury closes football will lose a very special venue. In the early 1930's it was the first stadium to have floodlights and we were the first team to implement numbers on players backs. (bit of trivia there)
Anyway it will be very good to chat with you and maybe have a beer in Munich come th 22nd!!
If anyone is coming to the second leg and would like some tips or yet more beer dont hesitate to respond

Always Arsenal

Im not too sure about places to talk football in Munich, but a great place to eat and drink is the Hacker Haus. Its on Sendlinger Strasse. It is one of my favorite restaurants in the world, and they serve the best beer in the world as well: Hacker Pschorr Weizen.

Yes mate the German beer is the best thats for sure! Are you going to the game?
Is Bayern a dodgy place for away fans to go to. Last year in Milano one of the Arsenal fans had a metal bar wrapped around his head. My girlfriend, who is from Spandau used to go to Hertha. She told me there is a hooligan element at games in Berlin. I hope its better in Munich!!

ps I love weisse beer!
