Well if the world cup is given to north america, mexico will be the primary candidate.

The question is, what makes you think concacaf will be next?

first, i doubt that the europeans will wait that long.

Second, I think, Australia will get it, cause Oceania will probably be next in line.

Asia '02, europe '06, africa '10, South america '14, so i think Oceania will get it in '18 cause Mexico hosted it 2 times already, and the USA just host it it in '94.

If they really rotate and Europe doesn't skip the line, Mexico should get it in 2022

No way that the US world cup came even close to either of the ones mexico has hosted. Those two are probably 1-2 in terms of best world cups ever. Where both Maradona and Pele were crowned. That alone should make Mexico the favorite to hold the world cup

When it comes to getting money from a world cup nobody beats the USA. This alone makes the USA the favorite (FIFA likes the money) and don't forget that Mexico already had the world cup twice.

Lets see the WC held in 94 was held in a country that didn't even have a Div 1 Soccer League in place yet. And look at how well it turned out. The US would have to be a canadate to host again.

As for Mexico, there is no doubt in my mind that they would do a great job hosting again. Who knows, Pele, Maradona, the next great could be at that cup,

2018 will definitely be either USA or MEX. The Australia suggestion is smart, but the Aussie FA is one of the most unorganized in the world and is wrought with ugly internal politics - something that cost Oceania it's automatic spot for '06.

I wouldn't mind seeing the cup in Mexico - but I think it is more likely to come to the US. The rest of the world would rather visit parts of the US over Mexico. Nothing personal against Mexico - I actually might prefer it there so I could get to see more of the country. It certainly has the stadiums. It will probably be a tough fight between Mexico and the US - but I think the US would have the edge. The organization would be flawless.

The U.S. has the biggest stadiums in the World...........once again......the most profitable, not the best.

Jajajajajajaja Seriously buddy take that shyt somewhere else.

Mexico is fine in this aspect. Remember, we are talking about a country that pulled itself up and rescued Colombia in 86 even after the 85 earthquake that devastated Mexico City and central Mexico.

I took Adu out before you even posted this response. And when I had it in there I had it followed by !?!?! So seriously get the whole quote not part.

I didn't say anything about it being the best or most profitable, I simply stated that despite not even having a Div 1 league, it had a successful WC. As a result I said that the US would have to be a choice to host again at some point. And since you stated another reason, biggest stadiums, that is yet another reason to have it here again, the object is to make money right?

I am not really sure where you are going with your post.

When it comes to getting money from a world cup nobody beats the USA. This alone makes the USA the favorite (FIFA likes the money) and don't forget that Mexico already had the world cup twice.

The world cup sells itself, people will always flock to see the games, no specific country will make the world cup more or less profitable. The difference is infrastructure, which the US tends to have more 100,000 people stadiums (even if it means at the Ohio state stadium). The money also comes in TV rights and things of that sort. Since alot of sponsors are U.S. (remember olympics 2000, Athens was supposed to get it for its 100 year anniversary, Atlanta got it-can you think Coke, Turner Broadcasting, not to mention McDonalds)
FIFA and the USSF would do anything to keep it in the US. Gold Cup (in the US), Mexican Interligas for Libertadores (US), Mexican National team friendlies, (US) this is a trend that will show that the US can put on a game anywhere, (even at the Alamodome in San Antonio). Emotions aside on whose a better soccer country, think of who has the better chances.

TV rights? If it came down to TV rights the US would never get another world cup again. I guarantee you Mexico pays a lot more for theirs not to mention what European countries pay.

I actually agree  with potter

Like he said above, Asia had it in 02, Europe in 06, then Africa gets it in 10 and South America (Brazil more than likely) in 14. Nothing has been official as of yet, but I highly doubt that Europe will go without hosting the World Cup three straight times. I think it will be in Europe (my hunch is England) in 18, which leaves 2022 the next time US/Mexico would have a shot at hosting the World Cup. I doubt that Oceania gets one anytime soon.

Personally, I didn't mind the World Cup being Europe, someone else, Europe, someone else. I don't think FIFA should have made the mandate of getting Africa in just because they've never hosted it before and passing the World Cup around to the world. It's not a joint. It's a sacred event. Leave it up to the federations to battle to decide who will get it.

The US has the stadium size, but they are not the best for world football only american football. The MLS might have the stadiums by that time but that depends on how things grow. I think it would be a hard battle between US/MEX. One thinkg I do think is we should be the first country to host it three times, when ever that happens.
