We'll get a new home kit in 05/06 and, as in the past, QPR is seeking the fans' input. (http://www.qpr.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/NewsDetail/0,,10373~624233,00.html)

Click the link above for the three options and voting instructions.

On first glance, I think I like the hoops going further to the side, like in Option 1, but like having more blue at the top, like in Option 2, and like having a "real collar" like in Option 3. That said, I'm not sure which of the three on offer I'm going to vote for.

Voting continues through 5 p.m. GMT on Feb. 15th.

tough one...they're all pretty similar and all pretty good. I think I'm leaning toward #1.

Kit 1 - more hoops.

We are hoops.

I like the hoop width, which seems pretty close to our current ones, which I think are about perfect. We've recently gone both thinner than I'd like:

and thicker:

Overall, all of the new ones look good, although they may all be a small step down from the current ones, since the current mesh fad means we won't have hoops that go all the way around.

As mentioned, I'd like to put the bottom of #1 (more hoops) with the top of #2 (more blue up top) and add a blue collar (or, at least, a white collar from #3).

As is, I may have to lean toward #1, if only because the hoops go further on the main portion of the shirt.

I chose #1... I like the hoops going around further...don't like the tapered look.

Overall, I like kit 1, though I do like the collar on kit 3.

I agree. I don't understand what the tapered bit is supposed to convey...apart from looking retarded.

I do prefer the blue at the top of the shoulder, as in #2, but just for the breadth of the hoop (and, for God's sake, if it doesn't wrap all the way around, it isn't a hoop to START with!), I'm for #1.

So far, over 2,500 votes, with one (unnamed) shirt getting over 70% of the votes. However, there will be alterations to the winning design.

"We have been overwhelmed by the interest in the design for next season's home kit," Harris said, "and we have also paid very close attention to the robust debate that has taken place.

"It is clear from correspondence we have received that aspects of the design have not met with everyone's approval and we will therefore seek to make suitable amendments to the winning design that reflect opinion and the traditional elements of a Superhoops kit.

"All three prototypes incorporated white mesh panels down the sides of the shirts for the players' benefit and to improve the 'breathability' of the shirts. A great deal of thought had gone in to the design and the look.

"But we have now asked kit manufacturers Le Coq Sportif to make slight alterations that will still look after the needs of our players whilst also satisfying the concerns of our supporter base.

"Therefore we will present the winning design, with alterations, on qpr.co.uk early next week."

Update: looks like a lot of complaints were about the white panels. The new designs have been selected and the hoops seem to go all the way around. In other great news, we're going back to the red and black hooped away shirt!!!

MLS could take a lesson from QPR on how to take fan advice to design a shirt.

Hi all - shirts are looking good for next year. Have been holding off buying one and waiting till the summer. Hopefully Le Coq will get their act together and have them out well before the season begins

I wonder if we're getting a new third kit next season. The green-and-white hoops are on sale at the club shop, so I thought we might be. I hadn't bought the green-and-white shirt yet, but at 22 pounds, I couldn't pass it up.

Or might we not need one next season? Will these two kits both clash with any Championship teams' home kit?

They sure as hell could. They could take alot of advice about alot of things to be frank about it. Certainly the Revs "organization" could anyway.

A look at the new kits -- worn by Gallen and Cook. Red and black kit should be available in early June; blue and white in early July.

I guess I'm bucking the trend and voted for number 3. I was just online and tried to order one of this seasons and they look to be mostly sold out for all three types.

A bit of news on the kit front -- we're now added Sellotape as a sponsor on the back of our shirts (below the number). The article at the link below shows the new shirts with the Sellotape addition and the new 05/06 style of numbers/letters for the Championship.

Do any other Championship/Premiership teams have back-of-jersey sponsors?

I just don't understand why the kit numbers are meant to look unreadable. Is that so the Referee can't figure out who to book? :D

Are there any U.S. outlets for the kits? The cost of ordering from the Club is prohibitively expensive on shipping.
