Not much--Bayern have more pressing concern with other positions. I thought the whole thing was bit of a farce. Having said that --Hildebrand is good and Vfb are right to hold on to him.

:)

Personally, as much as I would love to have Hilde, I didn't see Munich parting with Kahn and then ditching Rensing, who has progressed well enough to take Kahn's place.

Good for VFB. They are a nice side... I have always been partial to them. We'll take Lahm, however. ;)

Hildebrand isnt stupid, He realizes that he is the odds on successor to take over the keeper duties for the German National team after 2006. With the new Proposed Uefa regs it appears that Rensing will remain at Bayern and the worst thing for Hildebrand is to come to Bayern and Rensing beat him out for the spot which will more than likely kill his hopes for the National team job. He needs to play.. and play alot in Big games so the DFB will recognize him as the successor. He also needs to be in a position were no-one can compete and take his spot at the club level. I think he realizes he needs to stay in Germany because as a keeper you never know what can happen when you leave for another club in another league. look at Jens.... I think VFB is the best fit
