With the first home game just 8 weeks away, does anyone have any firm info about the new supporters club? Other than the name, very little is known at this point.

Nick mentioned it at the Town Hall.

I think Nick will be the only member of that one. How can you have a supporter's club, when the team's general manager is the only one touting it?

That's what I figured. When this idea more or less was first mentioned around the time of "the petition" it was probably more of a smoke screen than anything.

Hahahahahaaa brutal. We have the ESC with very underwhelming attendance for the lion-share of the games. How can anyone possibly think there is interest to start a second. I do like the idea of having a 'supporters secton' though. Promoted by METRO for those that are not in the ESC, but want to sit with other actual 'fans' of METRO, not with the youth team of the week and their mothers. Just a section where fans can sit and watch together. When I bring people, I sit over by the ESC. I hate the seats (I don't like watching from behind the nets), but it's less still painful than sitting with the adolescent masses. If this is the idea he is pushing, then I am into it. It's an improvment on the gameday experience. An experience that definetly needs to be improved. Both pre-game and inside the stadium both..

They don't even have the schedule done yet. Organize another supporters club. Might want to wait another 60 to 90 days
