You might want to keep an eye here (or contribute any travel info). We're hoping DCU can organize an away section for folks going over.

Thanks K. Any idea on how many are coming over? I posted a link to this thread. We have about 9 coming now. List so far:

Capt. Splarg
mattgabe
kpaulson (3)
chrisinho
Tricky Tree (2)
DMUnited

Did I miss anyone?

Why don't we say, for anyone reading this thread, that the final list will be decided by the end of the week -- Fri. Oct. 4? Sound good?

PS -- Do you guys want to sit w/ DC United fans or w/ Spurs?

This should set MLS' image back to about 1996. Way to go DC!

At least we'll be doing something right around the time of MLS Cup...

That would be losing to a bunch of retired players?

Ok, we're up to 10. If I don't hear from anyone, I'll assume that everyone who's contacted me still wants to go and I'll buy tix either today sometime or tomorrow morning.

I'm buying tickets now. We're up to 11. I'll email everyone shortly about setting up a meeting place/ time and getting me some money.

Nostradomas?

You mean nostradamus?

Hardly. DC barely won, and based on the webcast did not display anything resembling a postive advert for MLS. So what was your point again?

And Tottenham put on a positive advert for the EPL?

That you were wrong. You said they would lose to a bunch of retired players. That's the basic point, got it now.

They don;t need one. Plus who was playing for them?

Stick to spamming your mag.

No, not really. Next I'll make sure Hoddle listens to my exact team selection. Did Wade Barrett play the whole year for you guys?

Damn, you're the one coming in here talking smack about how DC is gonna lose. They call you on it. Then you change the subject to "I heard they played poorly". Take your beating and leave quietly.
