Someone said the show is done in Canada. Is that
right? According to Oliver's site:
The international sports news program formerly known as Global SportsLink, produced by Canadian broadcaster Global TV for airing on FOX Sports World Canada, has been renamed FOX Sports World Report.
FOX Sports World Report is now also available on FOX Sports World in the US. The show airs 6 days a week on Sundays through Fridays at 10pm ET and re-aired at 10pm PT.
FOX Sports World Report will continue to originate from the studios of CKND-TV in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Veteran CKND-TV sports news anchor Joe Pascucci will continue to anchor FOX Sports World Report. Pascucci has been with CKND-TV for over 20 years.
FOX Sports World announcer Max Bretos will contribute to the show each Friday with the MAXimum Soccer segment produced from the studios of FOX Sports International in Los Angeles.

So I guess you guys think I went overboard on my letter to Fox? You raise some good points re more Euro coverage. Maybe I should just turn the sound off.
But I do miss Kelly, this announcer looks like the "Weakest Link" MC on a bad makeup day...
To FOX:
Why have you replaced Sky Sports report with that shite Fox Report? Where did you get the two stilted, ignorant and gormless announcers, who can't pronounce the names of players, clubs or stadia?
For example, where the hell is the "Ber-na-bao" stadium in Madrid? I've attended matches in the Bernabeu, named after Santiago Bernabeu, long-time Real Madrid officer, including the WC finals in 1982. Pathetic that you allow people in front of your cameras with such poor preparation, talent and a complete lack of telegenic properties.
Where is Kelly Dalgliesh, daughter of superstar Kenneth? Did they raise their price, or did some idiot think we wouldn't notice the difference?
note the example of Electronic Arts blunder with their FIFA 2000 game. They attempted to replace the Brit announcers with two Americans, including whiny Julie Foudy. The patch to revert back to the original was a top download for them.
This is a big mistake, and a tragedy for soccer coverage in the US. But it's only a game, and it's only television. I can use the money I'll save from canceling my service to Fox Sports World. . .
