That's some good stuff.
Someone mentioned that this show has been broadcast in Canada. How long has this been on the air up there? Are the Canadians getting a different version of FSWD? I've got FSWD on DirecTV and this is the first time I've seen this show.

Just watched it, I think it's EXACTLY what the sport needs here. A show that takes the sport seriously and presents it in a legitimate tone and they don't even need English accents!
Very well done, from the graphics to the scripts. No mickey mouse bullsh!t typical from American sports broadcasters (ie: max bretos, your sportscenter clowns), hopefully it will remain that way.
Finally something Canada can be proud of.

I like it, just saw it for the first time tonight.
A)more highlites, that is never a bad thing.
B)not just english leagues and cricket, I love the english game, but it ain't the only one out there.
C)airtime used up by a legitimate program rather than crappy, low budget infomercials.
Just one more reason to be thankful for FSW!

Sorry, but I think Sky Sports is weak unless you love English football. I would rather watch FSW Report any day, since it covers ALL the major leagues. I've seen highlights from England, Spain, Italy, Germany, Scotland as well as extensive highlights from the Champions League. Sky occasionally has very brief La Liga highlights on the weekend, and that's it. They practically ignore the Champions League, I guess since it can't show any highlights. If you want endless interviews of English footballers and coaches that put you to sleep, then Sky Sports is for you.
FSW desperately needs a program like this that provides news and analysis of all the leagues that are featured on the channel, not just overrated English football.

It's been pretty decent so far. Yesterday though, they didn't show the highlights of the Liverpool match. THey sowed Man Ure highlights though...
THey really need to learn how to pronounce the names properly.
Still glad to have it.

Wow, I think you got a different version of the pronunciation guide than I did. Did you hear them trying to say Stoichkov's name on the MLS segment tonight? It seemed to me that they botched just about every moderately difficult name.
It also doesn't give you a lot of confidence when the commentators are saying something different from what the graphics say. It happened several times during their recap of Champs. League yesterday and UEFA Cup today.
It's a good mix of topics for a program covering world sport though. I guess I don't need to hear about all football, as is nearly the case with Sky Sports News.

Yes, those world volleyball highlights are essential viewing.

I was impressed with the fact that they actually showed some Champions League highlights, which Sky Sports News NEVER does. (If I understand correctly, this is due to the fact that Sky does not have the rights to CL matches in England.)
FSW Report is the best thing to come out of Canada since 6.4% Moosehead.

You do understand correctly. You'll never see Champs League highlights on SSN, because ITV owns the rights. Same for non-Sky Saturday Premiership matches.

I think that it's better than Sky since it shows a lot more highlights of the various games. Still it has a EPL bias that was evident last night during the UEFA highlights. Avt least they show other leagues highlights and being from Spain at least I get to see some of the liga scores.
I wish they would spend more time on soccer than they do, but I guess it's better than nothing. Cricket highlights you got to be kidding me!

The amount of actual game highlights seems to be higher than Sky Sports News. Plus, there appears to be much less reliance on the telephone interview, as compared to SSN.
I would have to disagree on the 1st point. I've watched the show twice and heard some pretty bad pronunciations. Hajduk was said= Hodge-duke. I do love the fact that they show highlights way more than SSN. I actually saw MLS highlights last night. Damn ESPN doesn't even show them. Props to FSWR.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this...got to see Hristo and Heaps going "head-to-head" off the ball and some of Adin Brown's nice saves from NE vs. CHI Game 3. It's a godsend for those of us without the Shootout and more than makes up for any mispronunciations.
I just wish I knew when a "new broadcast" was appearing as opposed to a repeat. Can anyone tell which show(s) will have the first opportunity to air highlights from the MLS semifinals on Sat and Sun this weekend so I know which ones to try and tune in and/or tape? It seems they film each day's show after the day's European action is complete, so there is at least a one day delay on stuff from North America, yes?

Good show, the only complaint I have is that the quality of the video of the European goals was not great.

I think its a great edition to my sports viewing.
Where else can we see the highlights of all the soccer leagues from Europe and here in North
America in one program. I know they do mess up the names of the players sometimes. But who hasn't. Even the guys on Sky Sports and ESPN say the players names differently.
I don't even mind the cricket though I can't say I understand everything thats going on.
Someone said the show is done in Canada. Is that
right?

No ONE should complain about this show. We are lucky to have it.

Agreed, but...
Sky Sports has Kelly.
