If Chelsea get 4 points dropped and manure or the arses win the league say by 3 or even 1 point would you be happy with the win, would they be worthy winners because the blues had the 4 points dropped??????

I don't get it. In any case, won't happen.

When you say "get 4 points dropped" Im not sure what you mean. Do you mean like as an FA disciplinary measure or them actually dropping points?

But say if it did, wouldn't that be the whole point of the punishment? That you don't deserve the 4 points?
If it did happen, I'd be happy for ManU or Arse. Would be Chelsea's fault for losing the points.

It's odd how everyone likes to point at the officials when players/teams make the mistakes.

ukelel should have received a 3 game ban for trying to take Ronnies head off with a roundhouse, Lee Hendrie got done for something very similar.

I agree about Ukelel, and they say MU gets all the calls. I don’t think anything will come down on Chelski; if I’m wrong and they’re dropped a few points, I have mixed feelings. If MU or the other guys were to win because of it, there’d always be an asterix in the records. Hell, we’ll win it fair and square: right?

Of course, when Roy Keane tried to decapitate Gus Poyet, you probably all went "yeah Roy you're our hero (ya dirty knob)"

Given previous precedents, Chelsea should not (and will not) lose any points over the Cole incident.

And when Shearer aimed a flying kick at head head, which made full contact, he was still hailed as St. Alan, England's savour, he can do no wrong...

Not really, whether it’s Keano, Shearer or Fat Albert, we don’t need football turned into a gladiator sport, like, hockey.

Given precedent, Rio should have only gotten a small fine and no ban at all.

Welcome to "big club" treatment lads.

Agreed. However there's evidence of United tapping up players, and Arsenal were recently found guilty of doing so.

The thing with the City player and Rio is that the City player should have got the same kind of treatment as Rio. FIFA rules say that missing a test is tantamount to failing it.

Ronaldo wouldn't last 2 minutes before running home to his mum.

In sentencing, precedent is only one factor a judicial body need have regard to. Sentences may change in response to changing political/social/economic times.

Often this is used for political ends
