Here's a question for everyone in here...
Who's interested in getting new scarves made for the season?
I know V-Army had scarves in the past. Is there interest in ones for this season with either V-Army or just a general supporters scarf?
I have a contact who can help set it up and we'd get them opening weekend or shortly there-after. We have to hit an order of 30 scarves to get this done and as it increases the price for each would decrease.
At 30 scarves the cost would be about $20 plus shipping.
Anyone interested? Any thoughts on designs? We'd have to make this decision quickly to get it done and I would have to have firm orders to even do it.
Just wondering considering the nice stuff **********cago and Scum have come up with this off-season.

This season instead of scarves how about we just do something in a choker?

Just letting you know, if you aren't already. A few years ago, Zak and company made scarves that said Columbus on one half, and Crew on the other. Long story short, Customs seized them around thanksgiving, and Zak didn't get them until the home opener.
Any design you think of should have some precautions so that Customs can't seize the scarves again.
But yeah, i'd be interested. Lots of yellow in them for sure.

Funny thing Krypto, customs is only really involved if they're imported.

I am not worrying about customs right now, I am just guaging interest. That's all.
I am not going to put forth time and effort in to some designs if nobody wants a scarf.
That's all I am trying to find out.
Take it from me, if your vendor is outside of the USA, it's not worth the time or effort.

(But since fid has sold out and is now sucking up like a Hoover this is unlikely)

If you guys are serious, check this out. (http://www.ascarf.com/). They have made a selection of DC United scarves (http://www.section8chicago.com/images/dc/) that has us spending a lot of cash that could probably better be spent on beer.
I've ordered 2, and there's a second round (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=166248) that has already met the ordering threshhold (and, of course, I ordered one of those also).

I think we just single handedly sponsored section 8 tifo for next year. To compete Barra will have to auction Owen to highest bidder :D

Yeah. If the design wasn't crap (and i'm sure it wouldn't be) and the price was reasonable ($25 max), i'd be interested. Looks like prices will be well beneath that max.
Looks like 30 is the magic number.

So any wonderful ideas out there for a design? Do we have enough interest yet to garner some preliminary design talk?

Are there any good places to have scarves made? I know that having Legion scarves would be great. I've never created t-shirts or scarves, could anyone recommend a vendor?

You could do one with a US Open Cup at one end, the Supporters Shield at the other, and Crew Stadium at the other.

As a scarf collector, I admit that some of the Fire stuff looks great. However, I'm completely unimpressed with the four designs that the United fans are working on.
