Should the Toffees sign the big Scot for a 1 year contract next season?
A month or two ago, we would have all laughed at the thought (except for smitten fan Sara, of course ;) ).
But I'm starting to think if the price is right, we'd be smart to keep him here.

34k is a huge amount for a club like us, but if we do make the CL.........
Lets ask this question again in the summer. I'm always so paranoid that he's going to get himself sent off.

Notice I said "if the price is right".
No doubt, Ferguson would be looking at a sizable pay cut if he were to play for us next season.

Not to mention that it's a huge amount for someone like him...

We're best to get rid of him. I'm like kerpow - I'm always a nervous wreck when he's out there because I think he's going to get sent off. And he sure isn't worth the money we pay him, even if we could afford it next year (which I don't think we can, CL or not).

I really don't think he does enough for you to warrant coming back. Not to mention he's prone to incredible bouts of stupidity. Whatever he's doing now will earn him something nice at a championship team, and that is the best thing for Everton and what you are building.
