Post all unofficial news, rumors, wish lists, dumb ****************, etc, etc, in here...

Mrs. Elf has been signed as the club fluffer, effective immediately. Rafa brought her in for the Charlton match, and thought she'd be surplus to requirements, but gave her a shot at halftime. Now he's looking for a backup, in case she sprains a wrist or something (which, let's be honest, is not that unlikely given our luck this season). I hear Marat Safin's girlfriend is on his shortlist.

Just thought I'd get this thread started on the right foot.

Stig would like to know whether this falls within the guidlines of Rumours, Lies, or Other Nonsense. Circumstantial evidence will be just fine. :)

Post all unofficial news
Well, I have plenty of unofficial news.

1. Arse, Chelski, and Manure have all "unofficially" dropped out of the EPL and will now compete in the Isthmian League alongside Isthmian juggernauts Yeading.

2. Liverpool have "unofficially" acquired Ronaldihino. They acquired him during the "unofficial" transfer period that runs during the month of February.

3. Liverpool will win the "unofficial" FA Cup seeing as Djimi Traore's brilliant skill move that fooled all other 21 players was such a flawless display of ball skills that it was declared an "unofficial" goal. The "unofficial" FA Chairman, Mr. T, will promptly award the "unofficial" FA Cup at Anfield on Feb. 5. Be there or be square.

4. I will be celebrating my "unofficial" sixteenth birthday and will receive my "unofficial" drivers license.

Discuss.

She's on my short list as well, I'd go best of 5 sets with her.

The Mail On Sunday admit they printed a fake story concerning a "meeting between LFC and Chelsea to sell Gerrard".

http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drilldown/N147751050206-0823.htm

The apology is nice, but there's no explanation as to why or how this story made it in there.

And I'm sure the only reason they appoligized is because Liverpool threatned to take legal action. They just make stuff up and only when someone calls them out on it are they held accountable.

Looks like Hamann is about ready to sign on for another year!

Is it rumour or lie? Surely young whining is nonsense. :D

I saw a story expressing that sentiment too.

But I'm sure talk of Hamann extending his stay at LFC is rubish as I was assured in the Players Out This Summer thread that Hamann -- along with about 75 percent of our current squad -- will be gone. :D

Gerrard wants Owen back. Or at least he just wants to play with him in England again. Bring ups the question with what team though. For some reason I can easily see Chelsea come swooping in in the summer and taking Owen from Real M and Gerrard!

I'd love to have Owen back where he belongs, but I don't see Rafa splashin out big cash for another forward when we need some midfielders and def.

Obviously it never hurts to have a player liek Owen on your team, I just don't see how'd they'd get him back.

Ahhhhhhh more things to think about.

Michael Owen will never play for Liverpool again...I'd bet my mom's last dollar on that.

Although thinking about it, it'd be nice if we got Owen back. Not just cause of skill, but I think that'd make sure Gerrard stayed with us.

It'd be nice to know who if anyone is on Rafa's radar for the summer. Although I guess when they're in as tight a race as they are for 4th, it's probably not the best time to talk about these things.

Not even McManaman dare mention playing for Liverpool again. See the correlation?

It'd be nice to get someone with his skill...but not him. No way, no how...

I find it 99.9% improbable that Michael Owen will ever come back. The only possibility is if we win a triple (Carling, CL, and the most improbable comeback in the history of top-flight football.)

Well, why did he leave?

A little from column A (underachieving from the club) and a little from column B (he's sort of a prick who walks around with a sense of entitlement).
