A little more time to prepare. Stick to the 4-5-1 but with some changes.

Anyone know what happened to Rommedahl? Is Kishishev ready to start?

Here's the squad I would put out:

Kiely
Young -- El_K -- Fortune -- HH
Holland -- Murphy -- Kishishev
Konchesky -- Bartlett -- Thomas

Subs: Andersen, Jeffers, JJ, Hughes, Euell

I would try Konchesky on the right instead of Thomas. Jeromes plays much better on the left. If not Paul on the left, then either JJ or Jeffers to start.

I think we can defeat the Magpies at St. James. They will have one less day of rest/preparation than us. We should be ready to work and fight after failing against Liverpool. We need a result now.

Go you Addicks!

Yeah, big Alan has always given us fits. So, I think we should definitely start Kishishev so he can help El K and Fortune handle Mr. Shearer.

It should be a good match. I hope for a win and will take a draw. But if we leave defeated, I will be depressed.

Go, go, go Addicks!

At this point, I wish Perry were very fit and had played in a couple of first team matches. I would prefer to have him on the field instead of Fortune -- especially against someone like Big Alan.

Still, if Kishishev starts, that will help out defensively a great deal.

I look for a close, hard fought match. No predictions until we get through this cruel month. Obviously, T.S. Eliot wasn't a Charlton fan. April, huh.

What the heck is up with this lineup:

Kiely

Young, Perry, El Karkouri, Hreidarsson

Rommedahl, Holland, Murphy, Kishishev, Konchesky

Bartlett

Subs:

Andersen, JJ, Euell, Lisbie and .... Sams?

No Fortune, Thomas, Hughes or Jeffers. What's up with that?

Close! I hear the Addicks put in a really good performance in the second half, worth of a win.

Good job Addicks, let's keep picking up points, preferably in lots of 3!

Are you mad. Give your head a shake sunbeam. We should be beating teams like you lot. But a points a point same as a wanks a wank.
