CONCACAF WCQ Prediction Game

Haven't seen this started yet and I've always enjoyed it in the past. If someone else wants to run it I'll glady pass it off but given its a week away I thought it was getting late and it should be started.

Game Rules
All predictions must be posted by the day before a qualifying date.
Post predictions as
Home Team score Away Team score

Scoring will be as follows:
3 points for correctly predicting a winning team
2 points for correctly predicting a tie
1 bonus point for correctly predicting the goal differential of a win or the number of goals in a tie

So if the real scores for the predictions above were to be

Mex 1 CR 1
Pam 1 GUAT 2
TNT 1 USA 4

This person would get 3 points(Tie + #of goals) for the Mex-CR game, 0 points(wrong) for the Pan-Guat game and 4 points(Win + goal dif) for the TNT-USA game for a total of 7.

There will also be final standings bonus points of ten points for each team you correctly place in the final standings before the first game. Please post those as Position. Team and provide them along with your first set of picks.

A comment on your scoring. Your penalizing us for picking a tie. How about 2 points for the right result, a bonus for the right differential (automatic for the tie), and a second bonus for exact score?

Scoring I think we've done in the past is 2 pts. for the exact score (meaning winner/loser or if its a tie and right score), and one point for the correct result (predicting the winner/loser and if its a tie). If theres a better way to score this I'm open to it.

So say I predict the US will tie Trinidad 1-1, and the score turns out to be a 0-0 draw, I'd get one point for predicting the tie, but not the right score.

It's easier to keep track if we use the home team first format, so:

T&T - USA
PAN - GUA
CRC - MEX
