My club, (Birmingham City), have just signed Medhi Nafti on loan from Racing Santander. Can anyone tell me anything about him? What type of player is he? Does he play wide right or in the centre of midfield? Etc. thanks.

Nafti was a starting central midfielder for Racing untill they brought in Gerrardo Torrado from Sevilla. Definetly more of a holding midfielder than an attacker. Very steady but can be overwhelmed by more skillfull opponets.

Sounds perfect for the Premiership then, @cos outside of the top 3 there aren't many teams with exceptionally skillfull mid fielders.

Cadiz is in first or second place in the second division. For more info on them, try the Andalucian Clubs sub-forum above. Mostly Sevilla/Betis fans there, but they would probably know more about Cadiz. Cadiz the city is in the south-west corner of Spain (Atlantic side) and has a large seaport and a beach. :)

This is a good English-speaking website about Spanish soccer that has info on the lower divisions. www.soccer-spain.com

I just happen to be wearing my bright yellow and blue Cadiz jersey at work today!

They are currently in first place in Segunda division, and if they maintain their form they should get promoted to Primera which will be their fourth time in primera.

Their website is:

http://www.cadizcf.com/

It's in Spanish.

Viva er beti manque lopera!
