The UK Football mags sold in the USA are too damn expensive. They are the only good english language mags, but they are getting ridiculous.
Four Four Two is almost $9 an issue.
World Soccer (yes, that dinky little magazine) is $6.50
And tonight I bought my first Champions League magazine...........it was $12.50!
This is ridiculous. I have enough trouble trying to follow soccer over here with the limited channels my cable gives me. They are really gonna hurt the fanbase here, if its this hard to get a decent magazine, not to mention the atrocious TV coverage. This is crap.

Huh...try becoming a Chelsea fan and buying the Chelsea Magazine at Barnes and Noble for another $8. It's rediculous. I've stopped buying World Soccer because it's mostly rehashed crap. I stopped buying Champions because it's too expensive and only comes out every 6 weeks and I am about to stop buying 442 because it's always a month late! When I was in England in the beginning of Nov, they already had the 442 with Jermain Defoe on the cover. We didn't get that here in the States until the beginning of JAN!

Thats a rip off, I thought FourFourTwo and World soccer were kind of expencsive, but $12.50? if my calculation is right thats around abou £7-8? they are great football magazines and i get them every month but i'd never pay that much for them, can you order them off the net or something? cuz that way it might be cheaper.
The Spurs monthly magazine i buy is about £3.20, to me thats money well spent :D

Any chance I can get a Newcastle - Bellamy jersey. I f'n love him. :D
That's ok mate. I bought a subscription to 442 for $50 for a year. That's not too bad, comes out to like $4 an issue.
By the way, that deal is through World Soccer Weekly.
www.worldsoccerweekly.com , go there and along the left you'll see a 442 ad. Click on it and you'll see the deal come up. It's 44% off the cover price.
They also offer a deal for Champions. It's $97 for TWO years so $50 a year, which isn't too bad for that one. Though Champions only comes out like 6-8 times a year so it's a little more expensive.
Plus by buying it through that site you'll be saving money and supporting an American soccer show (albeit hosted by two Brits).

I get all my mags at barnes and noble. I saw the Chelski one there for the first time today, but i didnt get to skim throught it because i was scrambling to find the FFT one. They were all out, i think were between issues. I saw the champs league one and it caught my eye. I had seen adverts for it, but this is the first time i saw it on newsstands. I saw the price for it and i immediately thought "F this". There was one World Soccer left. I looked through it and realized i didnt care, so i took the champs league one despite the price. Our american soccer mags are so small and low quality. Its sad we have to depend on britain for this. I think that someone in the USA needs to think of a magazine that covers everything that is decent and affordable. The sticker has the british price covered, so im not sure if they are ripping me off. I dont want to hurt my expensive magazine by taking the sticker off and damaging the cover. :p

That's ok. He's no longer with NUFC so I'm not going to pay $80 for a jersey of a guy not on the team anymore!! Thanks anyway Mel. (You do need a Philly Eagles jersey though! We'll take care of you when you come out here.)

See. I dont think it will be this year. The ex-wife wont let Laney-Beth come away with me for two weeks man. Its hard enough to just have contact with her. And there is no way i'm going to the home of Micky Mouse and Donald Duck without my Princess. As soon as she is older. I will defo be coming out to see you and your good lady steadymeister.

You mean the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles.
Here's one song you'll be sure to hear on TV at the Super Bowl. Listen and I know you'll hear it in the background.
Fly Eagles Fly,
On the road to victory,
Fight Eagles Fight,
Score a touchdown 1-2-3,
Hit em low,
Hit em high,
and watch our Eagles fly,
Fly Eagles Fly,
On the road to victory!
E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES!!!
Then there's this one that is gaining steam.
(To the tune of OLE!)
TO, TO, TO, TOOOOOO, etc, etc.
I just know this is the year. Next Sunday the partying begins.

E.T. ruined my childhood. That movie scared the shit out of me. Should have been rated R. I still to this day can't go in my shed at night.

To be honest those prices aren't too bad.
In England World Soccer is about £3.50 an issue which I suppose is almost $7.
The CL mag though is a rip off.
