Looks like he did well as a sub for Mokoena in the second half -- blocked a shot and put one in but was called for pushing off.

Nice piece, glad to hear that Ryan is taking advantage of his time on the field. Here's to still hoping he gets some minutes in Wednesdays match.

He came on for Rovers other new signing (A. Mokoena from South Africa) in the second half. As there was free Rovers World commentary over the web, I can report mostly good comments about his play. Certainly the physical nature carried over well for him, as well as his stability in the back. Speed and passing at that speed level he's still working on, but he defense was sound.
Given that Rovers are probably hoping (praying?) for a draw against Chelsea, Ryan may well be on the substitute's bench for this match.
