I don't understand why CONCACAF decided to have one double header in the Home Depot Center and another one at the old LA Memorial coliseum. It makes absolutly no sense at the same time it's stupid.
That's why they made the Home Depot Center, so both LA Gold Cup Dates are used there in Carson.

The only explanation I can think of is that the organizers might think a Friday night doubleheader can probably draw no more than the 27,000 capacity at HDC while a Sunday afternoon would draw more people to the stands hence the need for a larger stadium. They've messed up before, time will tell if their gamble pays off. Expect Mexico in that LA/HOU group.

It could be that the venues are each available only once.

27,000
Questions. Questions.
That's assuming Chivas USA actually lures people in after the initial curiosity withers down.
By the way, I had Chiva Cola this past weekend.
A little too much sugar, I think.
