On the day that Henry launches his anti-racist campaign the press are reporting a Reyes interview for spanish radio, in which he says that Henry doesn't take the Spanish coaches race comments seriously? This is the very opposite of the statements made by Henry and appears to be calculated to undermine the message behind Titi's initiative???
I don't get it? Why is Reyes defending Aragones and contradicting Titi? Is this muck raking by the press or is JAR a devious and devisive little sh1t that we might be better off without? It certain doesn't appear to augur well for a harmonious changing room?

Maybe its just that. Perhaps Henry doesnt take Aragones seriously because he wasnt serious. Im guilty of making rascist jokes in mixed company on occaision, but i am not rascist. People know im not serious, i make that abundantly clear, and the games begin. Cracker and Mick are fair game when it comes to me. Saying that Reyes is "Better than that black sh1t" is in and of itself rascist, but as we werent there, we dont know the context of the comment. Its easy to label people this and that. And unless Aragones comes out in public and says "Im a rascist, i feel that white folk are better than all other shades of folk" then we shouldnt label him as such. Also, both Henry and Reyes seem pretty humble and non self absorbed for their immense level of skill. Too professional to let this affect a result.

Yeah, funny thing about opinions, when theyre uninformed you come off looking like an apoligist a hole. Reading an article about Henry's reaction to Aragones' comment shows how wrong i was. Sorry chaps. But i do think, from experience, that just because two players disagree it doesnt mean that there will be tension. Did Reyes call Hanry a whiner and tell him to shut up, or was it kinda like "gee guys, it wasnt that bad"? Its all in the context and nature of the disagreement.

Yeah, right. We better ship Reyes off to Madrid straight away. You need to remember he's trying to hold down a regular place in the Spanish national squad at such a young age.

Henry's cool about it. He even joked about it the first time he saw Reyes in trainin after the incident, saying "How's it goin black s*it?!"

This is such gossip/nonsense. TH14 is trying to take the high road and Spanish newspapers are just looking something to fill a slow newsday.
