Highlights from Bates meeting today with the supporters:
-The current debt stands at 9 million pounds.
-Leeds no longer need to sell players for profit. The only players that would leave would be the players KB does not want.
-Bates plans on buying Elland Road and Thorp Arch back.
-A scout that was with Bates at Chelsea will be joining the club. Leeds currently have no scouts.
-Leeds United will not be moving and if they ever do, the city will retain the rights of the name.
-Bates does not have a salary with Leeds at this point in time.
I almost wish I had one of those thermometers people use for fundraising, except to follow our debt. It finally appears to be under control.
