This isn't a proper match thread, but more of a question. It looks like I'm going to be in Barcelona for that particular game, and I was wondering if anyone here of the Blue persuasion would be attending? The tickets are FREAKIN' expensive, but how many times do you get to see two clubs at the top of their games, in Barcelona? I've never been, but heard great things. Still, it'd be more fun with other blues. :)

Out of curiosity, how much are the tickets?

Almost certainly more than the tickets to fly to Barcelona.
Suffice it to say that gem encrusted Mr. Potato Head I've been dying to get will have to wait a few more months.

Lucky you!

I am in the process now of trying to get 3 weeks off of work in one shot, at the end of April, begining of May, convince the wife that going to England is actually nice at that time of the year, make arrangements to get the kids out of school early, get somebody to look after the house, board the dog and all the other countless little things that you just couldn't imagine, that are simply a royal pain when not single.

By hook or by crook though, i intend to be in West London when Chelsea parade the title trophy.

If...and it's a big if...i can get all this arranged in time, getting to one of the last games of the season would be nice also...hint hint to our London based fans ;) (even Rick :D)

"OH, to be in England now that April’s there"

Late 30's huh. I always thought that sig of yours was 'your' age. Anyway good luck on your trip, don't forget London isn't set up for wheel chairs like the US.

I sure that we could find an excuse to celebrate something by then...

It would be great to hold a 'Big Soccer' get-together in London. Fancy that?

I'm 27 on March 7 and I feel old. Never thought I would still be mooching off my parents still at 27. Living in their house, eating their food, my dog eating their food, using their TV, using their internet, man. At least I pay for my own school!! (Though they pay for books because I'm smart like that.)

Fancy that?It would seem that we are looking at May 9th through May 26th.However, the missus, never being one to miss an opportunity (typical woman), says it's only a go if the school will allow us to pull the kids and we spend time in Ireland, Wales and France as well.

She's starting to put a dampner on this trip.

Her fathers family are all Welsh, she has the family tree thing that somebody researched many years ago.

One of her bigmouthed co-workers told her about the chunnel and going over to Paris for a day or so shopping, directly from England by train and how easy it was to do.

Ireland i have no probs with (as long as the dates are okay ;)), as i could look at some things i haven't seen in almost 20 years.
