Is everyone growing their nails long to have more to bite on for this one? Or do we feel like our current form speaks volumes and we will handle this one?

Will we start 4-5-1 or 4-4-2? Will Jeffers get the start either way? Here's my guess.

Kiely

Young - El_K - Fortune - HH

JJ - Holland - Thomas - Konchesky

Jeffers - Bartlett

Subs: Andersen, Fish, Kishishev, Hughes, Helguson

Crazy lineup. Doubt Curbs would go with it. It will probably be the same old 4-5-1 that started at Everton. But I do expect that maybe Murphy might get a rest. If he does start and we get a lead, I would say get him off. He needs to be fresh for Tuesday.

Thoughts?

Crazy is right. Helguson is still a Hornet and probably is cup tied anyway.
I doubt Curbs will be resting anyone. They haven't had this good of a chance to advance past this point in a cup in a long time. Pull out all of the stops and don't fool around.

Right, Kev. Helguson is Cup tied. So, here's not so crazy.

Kiely
Young - El_K - Fortune - HH
Thomas - Murphy - Holland - Hughes - Konchesky
Bartlett

Subs: Andersen, Jeffers, Fish, Kishishev, JJ

But would you agree that if we get up, we may want to rest some players? Get Murphy off if possible. Maybe also Thomas and Bartlett. Liverpool will be well rested with no FA Cup match this weekend. They have a full week between their Carling Cup game our Tuesday match.

So, the sub lineup would go 4-4-2 and be:

Kiely
Young - El_K - Fortune - HH
Hughes - Kishishev - Holland - Konchesky
JJ - Jeffers

What say?

Hats off to Yeovil Town. The Glovers gave us a scare. They were a bit unlucky and we were a bit lucky.

I must say, no disrespect to Yeovil, but can we ever just put someone away? I know, I should be thankful. This is Cup competition -- where we usually just disappear early on anyway.

So, we go on. We are in the hat for Monday!

Go, Addicks and get another home drawn. Let's keep the Valley busy.

Murphy, Thomas, Jeffers and even Bartlett had a great spell there from the start of the second half to about 65 minutes.

Yeah!!! Finally!!! Looks like Yeovil played well, but the Addicks over came a spell cast on them.
