Picture it, if you can. A small terraced house in London's Peckham district in the mid 1950's. A beautiful young woman has just given birth to the most handsome of babies.The birds are chirping merrily whilst a chimney sweep smiles at a rich person passing in a hackney cab. The rich person throws a few pennies out of the window. 'Ooh, you're a toff, guv" shouts the sweep after him as he picks them up touching his forelock in the time honoured manner...

Anyway. I was born on the 16th April 1955. The same year that Chelsea won the top British league for the first time. On the 16th of April THIS year they may very well beat Manchester United to win it again ON MY 50TH BIRTHDAY.
