To any Londoners held at the mercy of industrial action, the following MP3 may hold special significance.

Finally, a real protest song. Wonder if Weller's heard it.

I guess a bit of background infor is in order for our American viewers.
Train drivers on the london underground network earn around £30,000 a year. Thats probably about $60,000 at current exchange rate, but even when the dollar is not weak to the pound its still ike $45,000 a year.
They strike twice yearly over pay disputes, despite the fact that their earning far more than average wages for pressing a few buttons. THey time these strikes at times when it wil cripple London the most, usually during the christmas season, and the summer when we have a lot of tourists in london, and a lot of londoners are trying to get out to the airports for their own holidays.
Make no mistake when the tube is on strike getting anywhere in London is practically impossible. 3 million + use the tube daily. The roads, buses, taxis and trains are over congested as it is. Add in an extra 3 million people to those systems because the tube is on strike and its mayhem
