Looking for anyplace in the Westchester/SW CT area where there will be a strong US contingent. I'm currently planning on Tigin's in Stamford, but wanted to see if there were other soccer friendly places.

Don't know too much about the scene in Stamford, but in White Plains, the James Joyce on Mamaronek Road is the best place to catch a game. They are one of the few places around to have EURO 2004 matches. Plus it is a nice pub. That being said, there is no guarantee of US fans as the crowd is mainly Euro expats.
Too bad I work in the city, I'd be down.

Thanks for the info on the James Joyce as a possibility. I hadn't heard of it as a soccer friendly bar. I have previously heard that Finn McCool in White Plains, near the Westchester Mall, was soccer friendly. I have never been there though. I sat with 2 soccer fans at Demeters Bar on Rt 119 near Tarrytown for the Columbus Mexico game in 2001, but that was just by chance.

Yeah, I caught a bunch of the games there, as I work in the area and had scheduled many "Doctor's" appts that required me to leave early.
Having the game is one thing, having a bunch of fans watching and getting into it is another, i hope we can have that, where ever we end up.

Bumpitty bump!
I've got a "doctor's appt" today and will definitely be catching the game somewhere. I think Tigin's is out as they are showing the England - Holland match. Before I go crazy trying to find a backup, does anyone know if another local bar will be showing it?
