What a fantastic match this is going to be!!I expect ALL of you will be here ,since im almost 100% sure they wont show it in FSW !This win couldnt have come at a better time!Lets hope that with the rest the players are going to have this weekend,( is FA Cup action) they can get fiered up and have a good run of results!
And i agree with your line-up!I hope rafa realizes that carragher HAS to play as a CB and that Garcia right now doesnt have to play untill he wins his place back!

I remember when we played these guys at Anfield an we absolutely killed them. I doubt that Charlton got into their attacking third once that game. I agree with the previous lineup and we should get three points barring another Southampton.

No, they won't show the manure - arse game on FSW this weekend. That will be on PPV. We have a better chance of FSW showing the pool match live or just sometime on saturday or sunday.

This weekend is FA Cup. The Premieship games are on Tuesday and Wednesday, and FSW is showing ManU-Arse.

I like that formation, and I will like it even more when Kewell comes back to replace Riise.tim He fits into that role much better than Riise does imo.
Baros isn't always going to stay out on the right. From watching the highlights it seemed like he drifted to central positions. Gerrard could drift out to the right wing and be very effective at times during the match. Igor has never been given a run of games in the first team playing in his preferred position. I think he is a good player, and keeping him in the team could help his confidence and he could find some great form.

What's the status for Smicer playing. It seems a little premature since he last saw competition in Euro '04, correct?

The official site reports that he played today for the reserves:
Vladimir Smicer appeared after an hour to play just behind Le Tallec in a central role and nearly scored a great goal after coming off the bench, but was denied by a fine save from Villa keeper Stefan Postma. He was understandably way short of fitness but this is a step forward in the right direction for Smicer.

I would imagine he won't play much of a role against Charlton, but it seems like he should be fit enough to play a big part against Leverkusen on Feb. 22, if needed.
In other returning player news, Le Tallec also featured:
On the plus side Le Tallec was back after cutting short a loan spell with St Etienne and showing a good attitude to come back and help the Liverpool squad. The talented French Under-21 international has also got rid of the blonde rinse hairstyle. He played the full 90 minutes and worked hard for little reward. Le Tallec played as a lone striker which is not his best position but he showed a good attitude.
I'm glad he changed the hair; every time I saw him last year he reminded me of Alan Smith.

Le Tallec, Smicer, and Kewell coming back all add to the midfield what we have been lacking...some creativity, and hopefully some goals too. Now Rafa will finally have some choices so that Garcia doesn't play every minute.
We are going to need Biscan and Hamann to play well for the rest of the season to help out Gerrard. The midfield has been our main problem area, but getting players back to fitness will certainly help. Baros and Morientes will have more to work with as well.

Wonder if Le Tallec will play. I remember he had a cracking game against the Skunks in the Cup last year - came on second half - played on the right right in front of us and was very impressive - always thinking on the ball whether it was at his feet or in the air.
Will be there tomorrow - hopefully will see Nando's first goal(s :)) for the club.

Have we yet to win in those bloody yellow kits we are going to be wearing tomorrow? Seems like everytime we wear them we play how we look. Pull out the away's from last year, it is still our third kit.
