Well, aside from the Wolves FA Cup match, we have this little gem lurking out there for next Tuesday.
The last time Arsenal took on ManU on a Tuesday, it was Arsenal 2 - ManU 0.
If only Wiltord was still here I could go ahead and chalk this up as a win.
Now if they can just get the damn hummingbird out of goal I'll feel better.
RvP scores late, Arsenal 2, ManU 1.
Besides, I can't take another week of having some God-forsaken avatar and spewing lies in the ManU forum. It's time Father Ted sang the praises of us for a change.

Well, this will be one of those character-building tests. We've been eking out points just because we've got superior talent vis a vis the rest of non-big 3 Premiership, but now it's out chance to redeem a loss and take on Man Utd at home. Too early to talk about must-win games, but this is pretty close.
I think it's us who start slow and have to pull out all the stops in th 2nd half if we want a win.

Is anyone else hoping that we win by simulating a penalty in the last ten minutes?

This will be the REAL battle of the Premiership this year. Whoever wins will give Chavski a run for the title, and will most likely lock up the 2nd CL spot. I think Arsenal will take it to the Mancs and deliver a 2-1 win.
This is going to be a tough, physical match. Glad it is on Tuesday though b/c I'm traveling the rest of the week!!!! Time to pull the speakers close and stare intently at the monitor as the boss walks by. Phishy, how did you listen to the matches at work? I just want to do the opposite so I can keep my job ;) :D :D

Coach's thread titles (http://67.18.212.126/forum/showthread.php?t=102605) were more fun back when you were Les Invincibles...

There's plenty to say about the Mancs behavior, but I would like to come out and say that I hope our boys keep off the ref unless it's really necessary - arguing over every tackle/push/bump is really going to frustrate me. If something really nasty happens, sure. But complaining every five minutes isn't going to win this game.

Wow! I used to be more creative. Well, no better time than now to bring out the big guns...

I thought myopic refered to a picture of giving someone your "Oh-oh-ohhh" face? Cheap Office Space reference.
See fancy words just turn into cheap jokes in the Arsenal forum. Be careful what you post Motter, we're not that bright ;) :D :D

I really hope that this is a classic, but I don't expect it. There is so much bad blood between the two teams that it seems they want to play each other and forget about the game. Charges and countercharges, woeful officiating and non-existent sportsmanship have destroyed what should be a great game.
I want to see Arsenal convert all of their chances and play like there is no tomorrow. I want to see the outstanding, coordinated defense that we haven't played so far this year. I want Almunia to be brilliant, but not have to be that way too often. I want ManU to play great football too. I want both sides to play football and stop playing the ref. No more diving. No more whining about every call. No more of the "professionalism" that ruins this game.
Unfortunately, I don't think that's what I'll see. I expect to see more of the same old crap. That's really too bad if you think about it. You have two of the best teams in the world meeting in what could be a brilliant example of the beautiful game, with heart, flair and breathtaking skills on display and yet almost noone believes that that is what we will see.
