Please grade me...thank you.

QUOTE=FC Tallavana]Take a self-test:

1. How old is Convey? 22 next mt - not in the same league as LD or DMB, and shouldn't be mentioned as such (have been saying for years)

2. How long before Bayer sell Ponte? Why would they sell a proven starter?

3. How much money will PSV get for DMB? Hahaha...classic. 200 million...lira
Tell you in two years.

4. How many MLS players play on the the full USMNT? Several...don't get this question

5-10 is word association - Post the 1st thing that comes to mind when you read the following...

5. Baby Jesus Fairy tale

6. Mullet Bait fish

7. jri Well meaning, I like him, just have to understand where he is coming from - an enthusiastic fan who wears red, white and blue goggles

8. Fergie See that new weight loss system she's peddling now, she still isn't hot

9. (R) Got me, truely stumped on that one, answer please

10. Class Ahh, Jacky Bissett is a piece of ass and Rob Lowe is a dweeb

This won't be conclusive but it should give you a pretty good idea.

That should have said "how many MLS players SHOULD be on the USMNT?"

The (R) is for "result"

Conclusion: You are hiding something as your answers are too negative. Oh, and you're going to Hell (but since that is probably a fairy-tail to you I wouldn't worry)! :D

Nothing to hide. I'm not that clever. I freely admit that.

Just got me a lot of negative rep. I don't think my scales of justic ecan ever

I have been following the game way too long and I am happy with our guys getting better and playing overseas, but I'm a realist first and foremost.
Get's in the way of my rooting. Get's me in a lot of trouble on these boards too.

That's the fun part though.

I don't think my scales of justice can ever come back from the BC, Arena, TH and Cletus zealots who just didn't want to hear about there shortcomings.

Seriously though, these guys were really praising Jay. Nice to hear.

I am now a Watford fan. And sometime last year I saw a BBC special on Hoolaganism. Watford fans were some of the main characters in the report. The left side of the defense is pretty solid with Darlington and Demerit, at least that is the impression I got from watching ONE game. I don't necessarily have YA fever, but Jay's story is definitely a feel good one. He played well tonight. He showed some skill and also showed a lot of athletic ability when covering for his teammates. Where is Watford in the table? Any hopes of promotion?

You've got to be kidding. Were it not for tangents there'd be no Big Soccer.

They need to worry about avoiding the drop!

They should be fine...there are 8 points and several teams in between. Plus, they have a positive goal diff.

Sachin

that's easy... (and maybe sad that I know these without even thinking)- and in no particular order other than proximity...
1) The place around the corner called "The Atrium"
2) Zoka's (http://www.zokacoffee.com/)
3) Caffe Vita (http://www.caffevita.com/?)

Back to the game. It seems that everytime someone sees Demerit for the first time... they are pleasantly suprised at how well he does. Like he's almost better than he's supposed to be.

Happened with posters here... and happens with the announcers.

Granted I'm sure he's going to really screwup and have a stinker one of these days...but it's funny to see the reactions - "hey this guy really is doing alright"

A couple mentions of Jay...one with "a fine (offensive) ball by Jay Demerit...."

Saw the highlites on Sky. Couldn't see the exact foot placement, but Watford had a PK situation turned down end of 1st half that looked like a PK in fast action (and certainly closer than the Blackburn one last night)....

Again, couldn't see foot action exact, so maybe player nicked ball after all...but it was sliver close...that woulda changed everything

My first impression of Demerit is a generally positive one. He seems to be a smart heady player with decent skills. Overall he played a good game. It seems he reads the game well and his long passing is pretty accurate. He reminds me of Beerhalter. Although Demerit is a nice player, he is not an upgrade over our current crop of central defenders.

His story is an amazing one. Who would have believed 8 months ago Jay Demerit would be playing against Morientes, Baros and Gerrard in an important game?
