Tough break for Zak it seems.

I didn't get to see Liverpool's last game but from what I heard Pellegrino was pure crap.

I am watching live. Will check in sporadically. (have a dial-up and TV is in different room, and the BS busy signals aren't fun)

Most posters on Liverpool's official site would agree with you and a lot of folks were wanting Whitbread to pair with Carra.

It seems as though Zak faces an uphill battle for the rest of the season as Pellegrino will get all the chances in the world.

It is stunning...that Jay is going against Baros and Morientes- who at different times last year- were as good as any striker in Europe. Wow...What a test.

Baptism by fire....

Good start for Watford, 0-0 in the 18'....

Keep it close, and hope for that one break....

the game has been pretty sloppy so far (35 minutes). The pitch doesn't look in the best shape and it is raining. Watford's defense is hanging in there, and Jay did clear with his head in front of the goal. Also was able to step in front of Morientes to clear when he was the last defender between Moreientes and the goal. Ther Gemran announcer doesn't seem to know the Watford team so well, so I am not always sure who I am watching. What is Jay's number?

29 sounds about right but that's just off the top of my head - might be wrong.

Director: I've never heard of half of these guys. And, the ones I do know are way past their prime.
Charlie Donovan: Most of these guys never had a prime.

29 is who I have been watching. He just put in a sweet pass into the box (Watford's first good pass all game). The person he passed it to one touched to another Watford player breaking into the box. Finnan took him out and Riley didn't blow the whistle. Replays showed that he made a mistake. Finnan might have gotten a toe on the ball, but 95% of the contact was on the Watford player's ankle. They were robbed of penalty.

I'm watching this game and keeping a close eye on #29 Demerit. Played good in the first half...nice defending. Watford looks like they have all around good defense.

He had two suberb long-ball passes into the box that resulted in Watford's best chances in the half. Very accurate passes.

Looks like the ref blew it again.....at the end of the half there should have been a Watford penalty. All legs, no ball. Ref missed it.
