Your feelings on Ken Bates?. Try to keep this to Leeds fans only where possible.

I said good overall. I don't trust Bates yet because I think it's pretty weird how he was able to buy the club so quickly. However, he has experience and hopefully the desire to bring Leeds back to where they belong. But what do I know, I thought bringing in Roque Junior was a great move by Peter Reid.

Oh why'd you have to remind us of Roque Junior. Boy how that guy's name make my blood boil.

Getting back on topic, I'll say what I said about my new roommate when I found out he was unemployed: as long as he pays the bills, I don't care. Can't wait to get back in the Prem.

I think it's great because Leeds were screwed without him... But other then that I've never been a fan on his... Course that might be because I never liked Chelsea... ;)

Well, I won't vote as I'm not a Leeds fan. But option 2 (okay but I don't trust him) is how I was voting when he was flirting with Wednesday. See no reason to change now...

It should be interesting to see how long it will take them to get back into the Premiership and what they can do once they get there.

I also said good overall but don't trust Bates. My distrust has less to do with seeing him as a guy who is looking to buy low and sell high down the road; rather, I don't see him as a guy who knows how to put together a winning club. Chelsea did win the FA cup a few years back but they mostly were a team that could be counted to settle in 5th or 6th place (with a rare 4th place CL spot). While that is obviously much better than mid table in the soda pop league, it doesn't reflect the winning spirit that existed at Leeds a few years back. I know, a few years back is long gone now, but I would hope for an Abramovich (sp?) rather than a Bates. At the end of the day, beggers can't be choosers. Hopefully Bates will resurrect Leeds and sell the team to a billionaire who wants to win but doesn't monkey with the on-field selections. Take care.
