What would you do if you were chairman and it was January 31. You can only make one transfer and to make it work you would have to trade one player for another (due to lack of funds). You only get one transfer and it has to be realistic. (No b.s. like Pellegrino for Ronaldihino).
This thread is entirely hypothetical, so don't slam me if theres ambiguities such as not being able to make a player-for-player swap and the rest.
I would take Luis Garcia and ship him off to the Arse and get Pennant in return. I don't know if Arse would like it (but then that's not the purpose of this thread). Garcia hasn't done anything and Pennant is a true winger with prem experience (the player we need).
Another way to interpret this thread would be to say "if you could get rid of a player (only one) and sign another (only one) who would it be?"
But then that would take the fun out of it.
