USA vs Hammarby on TV?

As you all may know, the USA is gonna meet the Swedish team Hammarby in two matches on the 23rd and 28th of january at the Home Depot Center. I wonder if you know if those games will be televised?

LOS ANGELES. Det amerikanska landslaget har beslutat att hoppa av söndagens träningsmatch mot Hammarby. Nu lutar det i stället åt att Blue Star står för motståndet.

Hammarby har inte fått något besked om vad det sena avhoppet beror på. Men förhoppningsvis kommer matchen att kunna genomföras på utsatt tid ändå, men då med Orange County Blue Star som motståndare.

Ingen direktrapportering
Hemsidan kommer dessvärre inte att kunna direktrapportera från morgondagens match. Anledningen är att matchen spelas på en av träningsplanerna, och inte på Home Depot Stadium. Svensk avsparkstid är klockan 23.00.

Interesting. I don't read Swedish, but there doesn't seem to be any reference to a match against the US national team. Maybe they're playing the local PDL club?

Last year, Hammarby spent part of their preseason in the US, losing 3-2 to the Mexico Olympic team in Fullerton and drawing 2-2 with Orange County Blue Star at the HDC.

My Swedish is pretty rusty but I believe it says that Hammarby are playing Orange County Blue Star on Sunday morning on a training field at the Home Depot complex, not in the actual stadium itself.

According to the article, there was some talk of scrimmaging the USMNT but the USSF has said no. (It's not clear to me from this report whether this was under serious consideration or just some idle speculation/hopefulness on the part of Hammarby supporters.)

The local (Swedish) time of kickoff was 11 pm. Sweden is, I think, 11-12 hours ahead of PST.

I remember reading one of the lockout articles, which said that the replacement players were supposed to play a club team this weekend if they hadn't reached an agreement. Maybe that was it.

But tonights game is not cancelled, so Hammarby will meet a USA full of MLS players..
