Public Comment Period: Official Sitewide Moderator Review

Dear BigSoccer Members and Premium Members,

As we hope you all know and appreciate, we are always striving to make BigSoccer the best community it possibly can be. One of the keys to our community is our moderators. They work hard to provide a fun and safe environment for everyone on the site. Of course, we realize things don't always go smoothly and that when some people have praise others have complaints.

We are instituting a new procedure for reviewing our moderators, and that involves soliciting feedback from you. This is a serious excercise and we ask you to only participate if you take it seriously. We are asking you to post your praise and criticism, and suggestions, regarding the moderation of THIS PARTICULAR FORUM in this thread. Personal attacks will be binned (the mods have our approval to do this) and we are only looking for thoughtful criticisms or compliments. Though we'd prefer you didn't, if you are uncomfortable posting in public, please send EMAIL to help@bigsoccer.com.

I put it to you that this, this ... Footix -- if that's his REAL name! -- has broken every Big Soccer tradition by being a moderator fair, rational, even tempered and occasionally, dare I say it, RELEVENT and LEARNED in those things of which he speaks!

This should not ... Nay! Can not stand!

For the sanctity and time honoured tradition of moderator perfidy, cronyism and tom-foolery I say thr-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-ow the rascal out!

Let's not get crazy, here. After all, he did willingly stand in the sweat mill that is Roseland through approximately two hours of a Rolling Stones performance in the year 2002. Is this the kind of influence you want on your kids when they go sneak onto this board in the wee hours of the morning when your not there to guide them?

Also, he didn't get falling down drunk on the recent Metro trip to New England. Something is wrong. Clearly, in that regard, Michael K. is the obvious and only choice as Footix's immediate replacement here...
