Right now 12 minutes played of the first half, 0-0.

I still can't understand how we managed to lose 2-1 on the first leg, but if we don't get through to the next round it's going to be very sad.

6-0 good enough? :D

I guess I'm not too excited about the big score going into the derby with Osasuna this weekend. Bilbao seem to be streaky, but I'm hoping the streak takes a break against Osasuna. :)

yep, 6-0 is good enough :D

Llorente scored a hattrick in his second game with Athletic, pretty impressive. I have the feeling that this guy is going to be very good in the future, he's just 19. Last weekend against Español he played very well even though he didn't score, and now in his second game he scores three, wow. It looks like we finally have a good replacement for Urzaiz.

Also, with Real Madrid out of the competition there are no big teams left, so we have a fair chance of winning it all. Now in the quarterfinals we can meet:
Betis
Osasuna
Numancia
Sevilla
Valladolid
Gramenet
Atlético de Madrid (probably, they haven't played yet but it looks they'll be in the quarterfinals).

We are as good or better than any of those teams. My biggest concern would be Sevilla, let's hope we have a lucky draw and meet Gramenet in the quarterfinals.

Wow Bilbao have certainly proved they are a cup side this year. With all the big clubs out, the ground is set for some interesting matchups. Bilbao-Sevilla/Betis would be a great final.

Ouch, so Athletic isn't a big club?

Well, I meant Real and Barça are out. Not saying Athletic isn't a "big" club, but it's not a G14 club. ;)

Huge win after they embarrased us in the first match- kudos for them for that.

On to the next round.

we need to win our 25th copa!
